Now, a year later, my nose is worse than ever

I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Özdemir over a year ago, and it has been an absolute nightmare. From the moment I saw my post-surgery results, I knew something was wrong. My nose looked nothing like what I had requested or what was shown on the surgeon’s Instagram page. I had asked for a defined nose with a cute tip, but instead, I was left with a long, undefined, and unnatural-looking nose.

When I expressed my concerns, Dr. Özdemir reassured me that it was just swelling and that my final results would be different. I had even paid an extra €1,300 for additional cartilage, yet I could barely feel any structure in my nose. Despite my doubts, I was repeatedly told by his assistants that I just needed to wait a year for the swelling to subside and they were very rude whenever I reached out to them.

Now, a year later, my nose is worse than ever—it's too small, disproportionate to my face, and even worse, I have difficulty breathing through one nostril. The result is far from what I wanted. When I reached out for a revision, Dr. Özdemir dismissed my concerns, insisted the nose suited my face, and flat-out refused to offer any correction. Since then, they have completely ignored me.

Seeking a second opinion, I consulted another surgeon, who immediately confirmed my worst fears—my nose was botched, and shockingly, there was almost no cartilage. So what did I pay extra €1,300 for? This feels like fraud.

Dr. Özdemir and his team showed zero care for my concerns, prioritizing money over patient well-being and I refuse to let it go unaddressed. I will be flying back to Turkey to bring this matter to the medical board and demand an investigation into his practice.
