Hello everyone,
I made this review, kept it very brief and then sort of disappeared leaving quite a few questions unanswered. It has now been over a year and I can hand on heart say that I would not recommend Dr Eyup Bozkurt for a rhinoplasty.
When i first met Dr Bozkurt, the first thing he asked me was "what would you like?" I told him that whatever he does- I do not want my tip rotated or lifted AT ALL. I had a very clear and very minimal idea of what I wanted done and I discussed this with Dr Bozkurt in great detail. I absolutely loved my side profile therefore did not want any changes there, I wanted some nostril asymmetry to be addressed and my alar pinching to be removed. Dr Bozkurt created digital images that reflected this and told me that after feeling my nose, the tip cartilage was damaged so he would have to take from my rib. I was nervous about this but he guaranteed me this was necessary to fix tip issues and I trusted his judgement.
So just to reiterate- I clearly communicated that I wanted my side profile to look the same and for my nose to become more symmetrical and to get rid of the pinching. I now have a pig like side profile
After surgery, I woke to find out that Dr Bozkurt opted for the open method, which was disappointing to me as one of the biggest reasons I chose him, was because he talks about using the closed method with his patients which is less traumatic. I do not know why I was not informed it would not be a closed rhinoplasty before the surgery.
Cast off and my nose was huge, but this was to be expected, one thing that threw me off was the size of my nasal bridge- it protruded from my face a lot more than before, and more so than after my previous surgeries. I felt like something was wrong and I was really struggling to come to terms with my bridge and why it made me look so different. I was convinced that Dr Bozkurt put my rib cartilage in the bridge without my consent to build it up. This was not something we discussed as I mentioned that I did not want any changes to my side profile.
After surgery, I asked for my table pictures and his assistant told me "look on instagram they are there". The communication and after treatment care is very very poor. A few weeks after my surgery, the drs assistant told me that no rib cartilage was taken from my nose after I asked him why my nose had been built up. This alarmed me as I now have a large scar under my breast so if no rib was taken- why was I cut open? It took the assistant over two months to get back to me about my rib cartilage eventually referring me directly to the dr but not before dismissing my concerns and telling me its a "natural swelling process".
Anyway all that aside, I went back in January for a small revision to correct my bridge and it is still built up and I am really unhappy. I feel like Dr Bozkurt ignored the fact that I am a patient of ethnic background, it is part of my ethnicity to have a low nasal bridge, this is not a defect, this is just a characteristic, therefore it is unethical to "correct" this because it doesnt fit a beauty standard, especially when we didnt agree on this. I haver attached some photos. They show what we agreed on with the digital images (please note, I'm aware there is no guarantee your nose will come out like the digital images but I just want to show you all how minimal the changes were that we agreed on). I have also attached what my nose looks like now, it is over projected, and rotated compared to before. one thing I will say is that I am happy that Dr Bozkurt corrected the pinching but it all feels overshadowed because I now have a new set of insecurities that I didnt expect.
I hope this serves as a warning, not to believe all of the instagram pictures - that being said- I also do not even believe the pictures on my nose that were posted on his instagram, my original side profile looks like it was edited and when I asked for videos, my requests were ignored. I do not think Dr Bozkurt is as experienced as we would like to think, and it seems like he is very hit and miss- this is too much of a risk to take with your face. I have seen patients of his who are very happy with his results but I can also count four girls who I have met on this journey who are very unhappy with their results after having surgery with Dr Bozkurt. There are also many people coming forward in the comments with negative experiences. I would not recommend at all.

Lots of dms asking why I had a revision.
I had a collapsed nostril as well as alar asymmetry and retraction. My last update on my Murat review goes into detail as to why I needed another revision. This was not done for vanity but functionality. Although my breathing I better, I am upset that my side profile has been altered as the only priority of this surgery was to fix the pinching/collapse and asymmetry of the tip.

I do not recommend bozkurt AT ALL considering he did not do an awful job. My nose looks okay not botched unless I smile i feel like it looks 'done' hence will get a revision. He ruined my nose by overrotating the nose tip even though I never asked for that. I had asked for the hump to be reduced and I told him I wanted to preserve my droopy tip. Keep in mind, I told him multiple times even after consultation and a hour BEFORE surgery that my tip should not be upturned. I lost the extra skin around my tip since I made the mistake of asking him to reduce it a 'little'. It looks bad because if he didn't overrotated my tip, my nose would not have looked pinched so the excess removal of the fat around the tip adds the pinched nose. In terms of First impressions: I saw he had good reviews and no 'negative' reviews per say and his earlier noses looked very natural. I flew into turkey. He was polite but I got the impression that he thought he knew better than me (the patient) about what I wanted considering it is my nose not his. I should have ran right then and there. I hate the overrotated tip and how much he took out from the sides of my tip. If he is more experienced than me and feels like he is a 'know it all', he should have done a better job. Besides the tip, since it was a closed rhinoplasty, my nostrils were intact and he did reduce the hump without any complications. I did not have any major infections thank God because the communication after the first month was ZERO even though I texted him once after the 1st month checkup bc I don't like to be a nuance and he made me feel like that since the consultation. He never replied to my only text where I had asked him about my tip being rotated too much. This might sound discouraging but If you want to get a rhinoplasty to only get the nose hump reduced get it in USA! NOT turkey! NEVERR!! it will cost 5000-6000 max if you get it locally in US. And trust me they are 100 times better than these Turkish surgeons who will overrotate your tip and if there's further complications you cannot fly back for them to fix it. 90% will literally ghost you. If you are looking for something natural, save up and get it in US and Forget about turkey, you will regret it, a 100%.

Yes, I agree with you. I had to make the same bad experience and the way you describe it sounds similar to what I had to endure. He also overrotated my tip even though I made it very clear that I didnt want a slope or a high tip and I even told him multiple times that the worst case scenario would be a "piggy nose" -guess what?! Now I have exactly that. Everything I did NOT want, he did to me and now I just feel like he took my beauty away. I regret it so much and if I could turn back time I would do it right away. Dr. Eyup is also very aggressive when you confront him with your complaints. He is a very arrogant doctor, so full of himself and afterwards they wont even reply to your messages. It is just so frustrating. To anyone who is considering him as a surgeon for their rhioplasty, think twice and safe yourself countless tears, sleepless nights, stress and extra money for revision !

I am so sorry you had to go through the same thing as me. I honestly have experienced the worst depression of my entire life the past year. All because of this. I just don't look like myself anymore which hurts me so much. I hope we can get through this and look back at it as a lesson learned and not pause our lives since it takes a lot of courage to own up to one's regrets. I am looking in to revision surgeons in US. If you come across any good ones let me know! Thanks :)

Thank you! I feel you 100%, I also am experiecing the worst depression of my life because of his botched work and his non-existent responsibility. This whole experience has been so traumatic that I am actually scared of revision, even though I know I will have to have it done. A friend of mine, who has had a revision rhino, has a quite visible scar and this is also something I worry about, though this is a minor problem compared to the mental pain Dr. Eyup Bozkurt has left me with.

My sister suffered the same in the hands of Dr. Eyup Bozkurt.
The guy is obsessed with not caring about the desires of his patients and he just keeps doing his own thing which mostly ends up as a disaster since his style purely lacks any fine taste.
You're at least lucky enough to keep your nasal passages open after having surgery with him because he usually messes up when it comes to functionality of the nose too, and additional to the aesthetic problems, many patients (including my sister) can't breathe after the operation with Bozkurt.
It's obvious that this 'doing his own thing' stems from his clearly limited capabilities as a surgeon and that's all he can achieve. This is also why he doesn't take responsibility for the noses he botches up and doesn't own his mistakes (and basically ghosts his righteously dissatisfied patients which is a terrible thing to do) because he knows he won't be able to fix the issues he himself caused.
I'm so sorry for all these patients of him and what they had to go through.

Girly... Thanks for sharing the reviews for both Dr Murat Enöz and Dr Eyüp Bozkurt. I am doing my research for my 4th revision. Apart from these two Dr, I have also contacted Dr Umit, Turgut and Metin. I think I will definitely avoid Eyup after seeing few comments here... Now my decision is not firm but pretty much with Murat. My nose is already asymmetric to start with and Murat did tell me he cannot guarantee a perfect result. Somehow I appreciated his honesty and I really don't need anyone to sell me a dream that cannot be achieved. It is just down to myself whether I want to go under the knife again.....And to be honest, I do like your nose after Murat and especially the side profile.... I completely understand the frustration of revision after revision. Have you considered going back to Murat?

How are you @Honest94?I just realised that you stated the price of this surgery for 2159GBP. He quoted me 4500euros for revision! I have done more research and I found Dr. Suleyman Tas. He quotes me 9000euros+!!! His reviews look perfect here, it makes me skeptical. My first choice is still with Murat. I hope you are okay and would love to see you sharing again.

I’ve read a lot of bad things about Suleyman Tas (see the Facebook groups). Don’t be tempted by the high price (expensive doesn’t mean good quality). I’m also looking for a revision rhinoplasty specialist, but it’s so hard to find one..

Gosh... Thanks for notifying... I could feel kinda fishy there but I couldn't put my finger on. I am finalising with Murat, booking with his nurse now. I think my situation is somehow different with OP. The first day out from my previous surgery my nose was asymmetry already. The doctor told me it would get better and surely it didn't. And I had the audacity to go back to the same doctor for revision. It was better but still asymmetry to begin with. Now I am just hoping I can get a symmetry result when I out from the surgery. we'll see fingers cross touchwood whatever :(

Hey! Sorry I haven't been getting any notifications. Thanks for your comment, I really really loved my side profile after Dr Enöz also. He did an amazing job after my first two botched surgeries- my only concern as that I felt a tiny bit let down as I would've hoped he would have done the proper inspections into my nose that would prevent something like my collapse from ever happening . I don't know if that makes sense. But yes I'll go back to him in January just for his advice in person. I will also go back to see Dr Bozkurt to see if he suggests anything although many people have warned me against going back to him. I just really really want to get my old side profile back. Have you had a look at Dr Tolga Bilece? I love his work and really wish I went to him

Don’t go to tolga go to a revision specialist like celebi or Sercan gode or someone that does mostly only revisions

So far have just passed two months post op. Not long after the surgery, I noticed that after the swelling began to dissipate, it appeared that my bridge had been built up as it sat higher on my face than before. As this is not my first rhinoplasty, I have experienced bridge swelling before but this time it looked different. I have now got a large bump on my bridge which is ugly and unsightly. I’m so unhappy with it, dr bozkurt says that it’s “puffy swelling” but the nasal skin on the bridge is hard and beneath it feels hard like bone/cartilage. I am so disappointed and upset , I know I’ve already said this but I always loved my side profile and now I despise it. I didn’t ask for my side profile to be touched at all so I am so unhappy that it now looks so much worse after dr bozkurt than it did before

Unfortunately not, the bridge is still high and hard. Doesn't seem like swelling as swelling in the bridge goes away first. I truly believe something was placed in my dorsum to raise it without my permission and this has now been exaggerated by the bump. I am trying to get into contact to ask him to revise the bridge only when I am 6 months because I'm just so unhappy!

Hmm..to be honest i always have bridge Swelling ..i know what you mean.
My Bridge was swollen also for 2,5 years, Tip has no Swelling only 1 Month lol

But yes, there is definitely something on your Bridge. Thats visible! Maybe a Turkish Delight (grafts wrapped in Fascia)? I heard that this graft on the Bridge can be squishy

I had alar pinching and retraction from the front. I specifically asked for no changes to my side profile which is why I'm disappointed. I only wanted the asymmetry and collapse of the tip to be fixed.

Come on, open your eyes to the fact that waaay to many of "his" patients are botched and therefore have every right to share their bad experience to thereby maybe save other people from having to make the same traumatic and awful experience.
And as for this so called doctor- maybe he should spend more time trying to improve his technical skills and working on a more ethical and humane treatment of his patients instead of trying to promote his lousy work and trying to shut down and cover up the few real reviews, which naturally are the 'negative' ones ;)

You're on point Berry676. I strongly feel that this is Bozkurt's assistant in Netherlands bullying yet another unhappy patient of Bozkurt. She spends great amount of time to promote his botcher boss Eyup Bozkurt with their ridiculous and delusional advertisements even though her nose which was also operated by Bozkurt looks quite bad with a very high radix, a hump, droopy tip and very wide front view. And they try to market this incredibly poor result as "natural". Okay rofl. Enjoy your Stockholm syndrome on your own but please stop bullying Bozkurt's many other botched patients with such pathetic attempts. As I've said, I can't even imagine how someone can be so low and can cope with seeing their own inhumane, unethical selves in the mirror! What a torture it must be for them for real...

lailarian, you, your boss Dr. Eyup Bozkurt and his other puppets like you look pathetic when you try to cover his terrible attitude and results by attacking the patients he has given super poor results, functional problems and trauma. And as you mention, your boss Eyup Bozkurt keeps using this patients table pics for advertising even though the end result is very poor and she is so unhappy with this result and probably he doesn't even have any permission of using them. You should spend less time on attacking the patients whose noses ruined by Bozkurt and covering your crap with cheesy, delusional, pathetic, ridiculous advertisements and more time on being ethical and mastering your profession. Your totally unethical and bullying behavior looks disgusting and it lacks any bit of intelligence. I can't even imagine what type of horrible people you are and how you can handle looking at yourselves without feeling immense shame and aversion. Truly pathetic.

I've waited 1.5 years after my surgery not to jump into any conclusions but I can finally and unfortunately say that he botched my nose so bad. He gave me alar retraction, asymmetry (especially nostrils), deviated septum, and breathing problems.
I also remember my consultation being so dissatisfying. None of my questions had been really answered and my opinions had been dismissed. The assistants were putting a facade of being nice before the surgery but they were never really helpful due to their lack of knowledge and education (in regards to medicine).
The surgery was so painful for me, I had lots of pain and bleeding (and so so much bruising) after surgery but his assistants offered no help about my situation and I couldn't reach Dr. Bozkurt.
After I've returned to my homeland, it's become even more impossible to contact with his assistants. They were just irresponsive and rude.
Then the manipulations and ghosting started... They ghosted me for bringing up the insistent post-op problems about my nose and asking for guidance!
People, please be aware and avoid this surgeon!
