It's been a long journey but I’m finally okay with my nose after 6 months

Hey guys I’m about 6 months post op now. Since my last post, I’ve gotten 2 cortisone injections in my nose which i went to Tijuana to do. The cortisone injections eliminated the residual swelling in my nose and i feel so much more comfortable with my nose now. It finally feels like MY nose. My nose did not come out exactly how i wanted it to, but i do like it better than the nose i had before. It took me 5 months to finally like my nose. Swelling is a real thing!!! Do not judge your nose until you hit your 6th month mark. It’s been a hard and long journey but I’m finally okay with my nose and do not plan on getting another revision. I’ll attach some screenshots i took of an unfiltered video i made the other day because i have not taken any pics recently but you can see my nose is looking so much more contoured now.

Going on 4th month
I still tape my nose at night because i feel like my tip looks nice and small when i take it off to do my makeup. After a while, it doesn’t look as small anymore lol but it’s a nice temporary affect. I am looking to get steroid injections soon to see if it makes any difference because i do wish my tip was smaller and I’m hoping it’s just still swollen. Not sure how i feel about my nose yet but I’m just glad I’m not feeling as bad as i did a couple months ago.

thank you so much for sharing your experience! have you noticed that your swelling went down from month 3 to 4?
From my second month to my fourth month - huge difference! (: But my third to fourth month was barely a difference.
I have to say, your nose looks absolutely stunning.
In regards to swelling, you might find it useful to check out this girl (Manam_92_) on YouTube her nose was very swollen and its drastically improved xx

Thank you <3 I’ve watched her videos but still think that her nose looks so much better than mine at 4 months post op. I hope mine is still just swollen.

Also I'm 6.5 months post op from revision and my nose swelling went down from 4 months. I think you have a lot more healing to do. Things will settle, slim and soften.
I’m getting a steroid injection in my nose on Monday. I hope that helps
Omg literally same! I wanted dr burak too then the initial reviews had me scared but rn your nose is SO pretty and has convinced me even more to go with him!! :) we are really our worse critics :)

3 month update
Hey all. I’m feeling better about my nose than i did my last post but still not exactly happy with it. I wish i had more of a slope, i wish my nose was closer to my face, i wish my tip was smaller and i wish my nose was slimmer. I would do anything to go back in time and redo my consultation. BUT it is what it is. I think the swelling is going down more and more, i don’t think it’ll change much more than this though because they say 75% of swelling goes down by the 3rd month. I’m accepting my nose for what it is now. Best advice would be to ask a lot of questions and be very clear about what you want during the consultation.

Thank you and good to know about the nose being too close to the face. That makes sense
Too close to the face is not always good cause it leaves patients with nasal dripping and breathing problems especially if turbinates are cut a lot
What did you tell him you wanted? Does he listen?
I told him i wanted a smaller and more feminine nose. A nicely contoured bridge. Remove hanging columnella and fix deviation so that my nose can be straight. He did fix deviation and hanging columnella.

Hi (: i chose him because i liked how his noses looked on Instagram and it is cheaper in Turkey
I've seen good reviews here on realself from doctor suleyman tas in Istanbul, but I think you look pretty anyway :)
