Here are a few more before and after pics. The recovery from this surgery has been so much better than the primary. The tip of my nose is still hard, but most of the swelling from the bridge seems to be gone.

You are so pretty !/
Look happy!! I hope you don't mind me asking - How much of a difference is it after revision in the tip? Hard to tell with pictures.
I am checking out all tips since mine was clearly cut off and missing from my face totally. So If I do get one back it will be half my nose.

Thanks! I noticed a big difference in the tip. The primary Dr. removed too much cartilage from my tip so my nose looked super wide and flat before when I smiled.

Oh good. I can't tell from the pictures that well. That's awesome! So happy for you!!! Your smile is lovely!

Revision w/ Dr. Hamilton

I had revision surgery with Dr. Hamilton on 3/20/17. I consulted with him once in Jan, booked surgery, had a pre-op apt a week before surgery, packing removal the day after surgery, and cast removal on 3/24. My nose is still very swollen so i'm going to wait to do a more thorough review and post additional pics once the swelling goes down. My primary surgery was a little over 3 years ago. The primary Dr. cut my nose too short, removed my columella, removed cartilage from my tip, lifted my tip too high, and left a bumpy bridge. I showed Dr. Hamilton the pics I liked of my birth nose and requested that he make my nose look similar. On the morning of surgery, I brought a piece of paper that listed all of the items Dr. Hamilton and I discussed that he would fix and taped my best before picture at the bottom of the page. Dr. Hamilton reviewed the paper, made his own notes, and brought it with him during surgery. I believe this really helped remind Dr. Hamilton what we had discussed during the pre-op and ensure that we were on the same page. The recovery was not bad aside from the first night. I went back to work after one week and only had a small bruise under my left eye.

Your nose looks beautiful!! Congrats! You sayed he used septal and rib cartilage? Did he use your rib cartilage?
April 2, 2017
Thank you! No, It was cadaver rib. I'm not sure how much was used though bc he initially said I didn't need it. I'm going to ask for my pre-op report.

Ok it looks great and you are just 10 days out. What did he say about using cadaever cartilage pros/cons?? I met with him too and he mentioned it to me too but some one else sayed he told them he would use their ear cartilage.

Thank you. He didn't list any pros/cons because he told me originally that I didn't need it. During cast removal, I asked if my septal cartilage was enough and he said no, that he had to use septal cartilage and rib. He didn't go into any details and I didn't ask. At the time, I was more concerned about how to take care of my nose now that the cast is off.
