Revision ethnic rhinoplasty with dr Murat Enoz, Istanbul Turkey

Hey girls,
So I have finally scheduled my date for a revision rhinoplasty with Dr Enoz on the 14th December 2018. I can’t believe I am approaching my two year anniversary since my awful initial rhinoplasty! For those that saw my previous review prior to having it removed know I had an awful experience in the Philippines with a much more bulbous nose which is aesthetically and functionally displeasing. I have been looking for surgeons ever since but due to my first experience I have been soooo cautious and learnt to second guess everything the surgeons say!! But a friend of mine has had a revision with Dr Enoz and is very pleased as am I, as well as the fact that he is an ENT so he can also stop my nose CONSTANTLY dripping also (something the previous surgeon managed to do to me!!) I will also be getting an otoplasty with him, unsure if anyone wants a review of that experience?
I am also having an op with dr Serkan Balta at the same time for lipo of the flanks,abdomen and back (will create a separate review) so safe to say the healing process will be gruelling but Hopefully worth it!
Anyways, I’ve just edited my current pics with what I HOPE my nose looks like post op or similar to anyway as my editing skills are not amazing!
I can’t waittttt to be able to hold conversation with people and not feel like they are staring at my gigantic nose and think how big it is!
Dr Murat Enoz seems like an absolute sweetheart and despite his busy schedule he takes time to reply!

Everything from when I landed has been acomplete disaster thus far!!! There is a clear communication problem here and the airport is just ridiculous with queues. After waiting over an hour at passport control the lady said I need visa so I had to exit the queue, get visa and queue for ANOTHER hour. Get in a taxi, I kept telling him I need to go to an ATM he was so irate and although it is really close he kept trying to increase the price throughout the trip? My internet wasn’t working great, as I’m staying in an Airbnb I needed the host to give me the keys and this man WILL NOT ANSWER. The taxi driver got pissed off and basically just left me in the middle of a road shouting. Finally got hold of the host and I was fumingggg, like almost want to cry from anger sort of angry. He came and met me where I was and walked me to the apartment. Dr Enoz and Dr Balta had been waiting a few hours atleast for me by this point. So I got the keys and dropped my bags and went to dr Enoz’s office where dr balta also was. It’s only a 5 min drive from the apartment.

Side note- I thought turkey was part of the EU so I wouldn’t need visa, it is also not a feel at home destination for mobile data my bill is at £50 yesterday somehow even though the internet was awful and barely working.

I met both dr Enoz and dr Balta and they are both lovely! As Dr Balta is doing my body I will focus my review on dr Enoz as he is doing my nose and ears. He is the absolute sweetest! He looked at my ears throat and nose and also felt around my nose. He took photos and We then sat down and edited a photos of my nose front and side view. I still have some asymmetry in my nose and he has said that he will try his best to make symmetrical. He will also be doing my otoplasty pushing my ears back.

I am at the hospital now, this place looks more like a 5* hotel as opposed to a hospital! But my surgery is in 2 hours, dr Balta will start then dr Enoz will finish and expected to be 4-6 hours.

I would note my healing process may not be an accurate reflection of anyone else’s aside from our physiological differences, I am having a few procedures done at the same time so I anticipate swell hell.

I will be spending three nights here then back to my apartment. It’s the memorial bahcelievler hospital.
