Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience. Its incredibly helpful. Your results are beautiful! I hope you're keeping well. I'm considering a revision rhinoplasty with him too. Only challenge is I had a revision rhino 12 months ago, and I'm not sure the swelling has fully resolved on the nose tip/alars. I don't want to go for a third revision until the nose is fully settled which I'm told is at 18 months? In your experience, after revision when did you see the 'final' result?
Hey, dr Murat usually asks you to wait 2 years before a revision.. honestly I am 1 year 6 months post revision and my nose still swells ALL THE TIME I have to tape it when I sleep.. I guess it depends whether you have thick skin (like me) swelling lasts longer and even being in the sun for long it gets super swollen again.. although I would say around 8-9 months I saw most of the swelling subside and see the actual shape.. Hope it helps x

Going back for slight alarplasty

Sorry I completely forget about this review and randomly see some emails, overall my nose has gone down dramatically and I like my side profile a lot more but it’s still quite swollen on the top and I tape my nose every night when I don’t tape it I can see a massive difference in how swollen it looks in the morning.
As I mentioned in my previous post once I each 1 year I may go back for a touch up on my alars and at exactly 1 year 2 months (this Friday) I will go back to get a slight alarplasty however I want the alarplasty done from the outside to reduce the ‘flare’

I will upload pics of it now and after the alarplasty soon

I have flared nostrils too but is outside scar best? I’m worried about that scarring going up the alar crease but not sure if it’s only way to reduce wings

SWELLING IS FINALLY GOING DOWN!!

FInally my side profile has improved dramatically!!! The steroid shot is starting to work! I also try to tape my nose at night now. Hoping it goes down more especially from the front! But as of now I’m as happy as could be with it considering a slight touch up with alarplasty when I get to 1 year postop.

You look great, congrats! I understand he has great manners but would you recommend Dr Murat after all you've been through?
Thank you! And yes I would because not a lot of surgeons are willing to fix or correct little things for free or take time to check up on patients. Although I have a groove still and need some filler put in my nose is sooo much better then before!
