How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

It's been 2 years now since my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Liotta.
When I met her for my first consultation, I was impressed by her and how she spent so much time explaining everything to me and showing me images of how my results would look like. She even told me that for a next consultation if I decided to move forward, we would do even more picture simulations. It took me around a year to make the decision to go on with the surgery, since I was already traumatized by my previous rhinoplasty failure back in 2012. But when I was already booked, and went to the consultation prior to surgery, I kid you not, she spent probably 10-15 minutes with me and went through everything in a rush, leaving most of my issues aside. Something in my gut told me I should cancel everything, but I had already traveled from far and had friends traveling to come take care of me.
Anyways... After the cast was removed I was incredibly swollen, but I could notice immediately my nose was tilted to one side. I told her and she said we could not discuss anything until the swelling went down. As weeks went by, I got anxious because things didn't really look as expected (scars also got infected) but she was never really able to give me concrete answers. After the 6 month consultation I still had things I did not like with my nose. One thing was that I could not breathe on my left side now and her answer was (putting a q-tip inside my nostril and pulling it outwards) "I could do surgery again if you want to open the nostril like this but you won't like it". The second thing was that I had the bone coming out on my right side of the nose, which she was supposed to fix, and her answer was "well, I tried".
It's been 2 years now and I hate looking at myself in the mirror every morning. My nose is crooked, tilted and not pretty. Also went to see another doctor who told me my septum was deviated on both sides.
