#5!!!!

I've had 5 surgeries! With my 5 th one being 3-17-21 and too early to tell if this one was a success! My 3&4 th were prob the hardest surgeries and super invasive - 4 hour surgery. Over night stay in his hospital. This has been a really tough Journey for me and all I want to do is breathe! In the process my tip looks messed up to me :( from all the cartlidge! Here are some photos of surgeries 3,4 &5 I really don’t know if this last surgery was a success yet or not. I can only pray it was. But now I’m dealing with my tip being messed up ????

3 rd nose surgery!

I cant believe i have gone through 3 surgeries now. As my first two were complete failures, resulting in a collapsed nasal valve and struggling to breathe. This journey is NOT what I expected when I decided to fix my Nose and spend my money I had saved on it. To say my quality of life was taken from me these last few years is an understatement. I can't begin to tell you how horrible life was, not being able to breathe AT ALL every minute of the day. Somedays i wish I never did this and spent my money. What a waste. The first 2 surgeries we're with the same surgeon. I was hoping and trusted he could make it right for me the second time around. Nope. That is not what happened.
Thankfully i found Dr Mawn , who's an ENT that'l also specializes in plastic surgery.
He had a big job to do but he was prepared to
Do it.
My 3rd surgery was August 20 th.
3 hours ! He had several things to fix.
My graft ( which was rib graft ) that was used in my tip had partially slipped down into my upper gum. My nasal valve was collapsed. And my tip was also drooping.
So yes. After fixing everything- using cadaver cartridge, to rebuild my tip. Cutting into my upper lip to remove the bone. And fixing the collapsed nasal valve , granted all my scar tissue, and 3 hours of surgery , he did it.
I had to have stents in for 7 day which SUCKED SO BAD. I've got bad anxiety. I didn't sleep !
My lip hurt So bad. My nose. So painful!
I'm now 3 weeks out.
My recovery has been shitty not going to lie.
Been tough. But although I'm stuffy I CAN BREATHE!!!!! I have never been able to breathe, before all my surgeries. BUT after my surgeries was thousand times worse. Like I was suffocating. Literally.
Im still swollen somewhat
It's sore. I've got horrible sores inside.
The recovery sucks. BUT I can breathe!!!!
The ONLY Thing that sucks is my nose is slanting a little :( It's not totally obvious but it is to me. And he can see it
So I've got to wait it out. See how things heal
At the end of the day though i AM going to want it straight.
We will see
But He is a SAVIOR!!!
Thankful I found him!!
