A few things but my biggest issue is the rib

For one thing I think dr Kim did the best he could but he never followed up with me. He never contacted me at the one year mark to see the progress which honestly I think it poor practice. Wouldn’t you want to see your own surgical results to see or to improve?? I did try to follow up and ask about my nostrils because as my healing progressed and nasal pinched they seem very slightly out of proportion to me. The nose is still not straight but it’s straighter. It still has some divers which were not hidden by the fascia he placed. During this second follow up he wasn’t really helpful, he just said my camera on my phone was creating the illusion. The result was amazing and then referred me to a local surgeon who he was buddies with. This local guy is literally at raves and parties all the time on us IG. I’m not comfortable with a surgeon who is partying all the time. So for the issue I’m unlikely to revisit it again as it’s too risky. My other concern began with my (Brazilian jitsu) training and when i got COVID my right rib cartilage was inflamed. I never developed a cough during COVID but it still hurt very bad when I breathed. During jiu jitsu it has twice felt like it seperated or became quite sore and I had to take off from training. Rib injuries are common but there was no injury just me using my core muscles. This has caused me to question rib cartilage as a safe alternative for revision and I believe ear or even cadaevar may be safer. Dr. Hilinski has some very detailed results with ear. So in the end you may not think you need those rib cartilage or muscles in tact until you start really working out hard then you realize that you could have caused a weakness. Just some thoughts.

Some new developments have unfolded…Update coming soon

Healing apparently wasn’t complete and I do have some concerns now that I need to mention

I’m still really happy over a year later and thankful for dr Kim.
