I had two previous rhinoplasties with a physician in NJ, and for 3 years now have been seeking to revise a step-off in my dorsum and just overall asymmetry. I found some in the states, most overpriced, many not wanting my case at all. I started to look outside of US borders and found Dr. Luis Sandoval through instagram. I'm not a native Spanish speaker, luckily he is fluent and we held a video consultation, two actually. Four months later I had surgery performed. I traveled alone yet had a nurse for several days to assist me in a hotel in Guadalajara. The city is safe, I felt extremely comfortable taking ubers, getting food and medication, and finally meeting Dr. Sandoval and going in for the surgery was as smooth and simple as you could possibly have. I felt comfortable at every step, he responds extremely promptly to any questions you have, and his clinical team, anesthesiologist are all kind, friendly and highly concerned with your feelings, emotionally and physically, you are in premium care, I assure you. He has changed my life, my nose (3 weeks out now) is beautiful and straight. I had ear cartilage used, and so I do have a lot of bruising, had swelling, but now am returning to normal. There is a bit of aftercare but it is generally easy. I encourage anyone considering him for treatment to go. Just go and do it in Guadalajara and you will not regret it. He's getting very busy now and I'm lucky to have been able to have the surgery when I did. I stayed 8 days and I think that is a comfortable, safe amount of time (I live in Miami) and that was per the doctor's direction as well. I will never look back and can't wait to see him in the future for long-term follow-up. I will be posting photos shortly.
