Not sure where to begin. I went with doctor Hector Milla back in January 2020 for a revision rhinoplasty. I was all excited until the day of my surgery when he told me (last minute) that he would need cartilage to rebuild my nose. What kind of doctor waits until the day of the patient surgery day, that’s when my nightmare begin! I stupidly say yes because I was already with my own so I didn’t know what to say. Not only that he pulled out my lash extensions alive and it was extremely painful because not one of his nurses told me before that lash extensions weren’t allowed. My eyelids were purple. After I wake up from my surgery to find out that I was in so much pain because of the rib harvest he did. I waited a week until it was time to remove the cast. OMG MY nose was huge, connected to my forehead, so ugly like an avatar. I knew swelling bruising was normal. I noticed immediately that he removed my slope curved nose I had before which we never agreed to. All I wanted was for him to fix the tip of my nose. I was left in so much pain emotionally and mentally. A week later I noticed that a stitch was coming out of my incision so I went back for the nurse to remove. My nose hasn’t changed at all. It has been 8 months and my nose looks huge. The V deformity that he say he fixed is back and now I have cartilage showing on the tip of my nose !!! And let’s not talk about how rude and cocky he is saying oh your nose was ugly before. What kind of doctor speak like that to their patient? My whole experience being horrified! I contacted him again trying to see if he was willing to fix my nose again and his answer was just leave it alone. I’m emotionally destroyed. So if you want your nose to end up connected to your forehead with zero definition then he’s your doctor to go.

Response from Dr. Milla:
I am very sad to read your review since I remember you came to us with severe aesthetic and functional alterations, and I strongly believe that we corrected every aspect of the concerns you pointed out during your consultation with very formidable results, as the pictures you kindly shared show. I do however respect your opinion and understand that I cannot fulfill your expectations 100% and would love to discuss it with you any time. Please feel free to reach out to me whenever you want.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I'm having a similar experience and my surgeon caused a depression in my nose and has the nerve to tell me "it's not that bad". I'm looking into revision specialists out of state. These surgeons aren't held accountable and feel comfortable ruining people's lives.

Don't worry, you still have chance to repair your nose unlike me, i had 3 nose operations already.
