Revision Rhinoplasty with Great Results!
Before I begin this review I would really like to thank Dr.Ilker for not only the great shape of my nose, but for allowing me to breath after years of suffering caused by a previous rhinoplasty. words cannot express my gratitude or how amazing he is.
Why I chose Dr. Ilker is because many doctors in the middle east where I'm from are extremely unprofessional, and yes I'm not going to say only my country, the middle east as a whole, (they are the reason I needed a revision) a lot of them have little to no before after photos. so I chose to look outside. and found Dr. Ilker, and I'm glad I did.
my case is a revision rhinoplasty - when I first arrived to his office we had a talk and he examined my nose, and showed me what was possible or achievable, through the photoshop/ before after simulator. I agreed, because my main concern at that point was to be able to breath, but to be honest? it turned out way more beautiful that I saw on the photoshop lol! also from what I understood skin elasticity plays a role in elongating the nose, my skin elasticity is really bad from all the cortizone I used for my epilepsy, but I'm writing this for whoever wants to get this procedure: you might have a better result than I did.
my breathing problem was caused by my previous surgeon, he removed cartilages without my knowledge which damaged my breathing and the shape. so Dr.Ilker told me that cartilages will need to be harvested from my ears and chest to replace the old missing ones that were removed and fix the breathing problem (and the shape too!)
what I learned as well is that he used Piezo/Ultrasonic rhinoplasty technology, which is the new way and safer way of shaving bone during rhinoplasty, it will never leave you blue and swollen after the surgery. less damage to you and quicker healing time. I felt regret that I actually did 2 surgeries before while there is such technology around already available.
my surgery was definitely more time consuming than the regular primary rhinoplasty, because it involved cartilage harvesting from more than one area. I really want to thank the doctor for his patience during my surgery.
and to everyone wondering, in short my problem from my previous surgery was: short chopped nose, no tip/no definition/round tip/ can't breathe/ assymetric nostrils.
a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are the before and after pictures
I recommend Dr.ilker strongly for anyone who wants a naturally beautiful nose. plastic surgeons that are E.N.Ts as well are always ALWAYS better and safer to go to than just plastic surgeons for rhinoplasty.
