I Feel Confident and Beautiful
WORTH IT
I had my nose done when I was 15 years old in the Philippines. The doctor had put a silicone implant (told me it was Gortex at the time) inside and trimmed my alar base. I was not happy at all with the end result as the implant became lopsided (leaned to the left of my face) and my nose was still wide.
Twelve years later, at age 27, I decided to get a revision rhinoplasty done with Dr. Levi Lansangan from Shimmian Group. I'm from the States so I did my research on all of the famous / well-known rhinoplasty surgeons in the PI and found that his work matched best with what I wanted. I wanted a high bridge, upturned nose, with more alar base trimming.
I met with Dr. Levi and another Dr. for my consultations. It was obvious that both Doctors were very familiar with rhinoplasties - but Dr. Levi stood out to me for a number of reasons: 1) Explained more thoroughly with visuals the anatomical and physiological changes he would be performing to my nose. 2) The office staff were very, very responsive and made me feel at peace as soon I walked in 3) The photos of his work were outstanding and as I mentioned before, matched what I wanted for myself.
I was still undecided after the consultations as I wanted this to be the last time I touched my nose. After meeting with Dr. Levi, I went downstairs to the lobby of the medical building to think about which Doctor I wanted to proceed with. In walked a gorgeous, Euro-Asian looking woman and she signed in and went to the elevator bank. I was curious to see who she was meeting with (there are several medical clinics within the building) and saw that she signed in to see Dr. Levi - "Okay this must be a sign" I thought to myself. I followed her up to the clinic and pulled her aside and told her she looked amazing - I asked her if she would recommend him for rhinoplasty and she said, "YES! He fixed my nose and I had gotten mine done three times before seeing him!" That was the ultimate sign that I needed and decided to go with Dr. Levi.
It is almost nine months post revision rhinoplasty, and I love my results. I used to think about my nose ALOT on a daily, no, hourly basis. I would think my nose would be the reason why I wasn't getting promotions or why men didn't think I was attracted. Dr. Levi made my nose more proportional to my face and it looks like I was born with it. I no longer think about my nose and I now put myself out there more in conversations, interacting with others, etc.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Levi to anyone contemplating rhino/revision rhino. His staff is so sweet and competent as well! Love them all.
