I first went to see Mr Murphy in August 2017 to discuss a revision rhinoplasty, as you can imagine I was quite apprehensive due to a negative first experience with surgery.
Mr Murphy made me feel at ease right away, he is very personable and went through every aspect of what the process is and outcomes. He also took 3d pictures of my face and explained what had gone wrong the first time and what had caused my deviated septum. He gave me realistic expectations and made it clear that revision surgery was difficult and he wouldn't know for sure what we were dealing with until he could look on the day or surgery. He also advised a chin implant, and showed me with my 3d pictures how this would bring better balance to my face.
I decided to go ahead with the proceedures in August 2018, the hospital was clean and new with a lovely private room and very attentive staff. Both Mr Murphy and the aniethatist came too see me to answer any questions I may have before the surgery. When I woke my nose didn't hurt at all but there was quite a lot of aching in my chin, again the staff were attentive and provided me with pain killers.
When I went back a week later my nose was very very swollen but im told this is usual if you have had tip work done. I didn't really start to see the results for about 3 months for my nose, the chin was more instant but there was a lot of swelling around my jaw.
Seven months down the line my nose just keeps getting better and better and now I am very happy with my side profile, my face is more balanced and my nose is a much better shape.
