Dr. Liotta is a star. EASY + beautiful revision rhino recovery
I Have a Revision Rhinoplasty and . . It Was EASY!!!!
I am coming to RealSelf to write the review I wish I would have seen while researching. Doing this surgery with Dr. Liotta was a walk in the park.
My background is that as a kid, I had an accident and broke my nose pretty badly into a C-shape. Though my breathing was bad, I was afraid to do anything about it until much later. Eventually, my parents chose an ENT doctor for me based on what their insurance would cover. None of us had any knowledge about plastic surgery, we didn’t even consult with a plastic surgeon before choosing a doctor. While the first surgery improved my breathing somewhat, it was far from perfect and left a lot to be desired cosmetically.
I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Liotta and her private OR. Everyone was so kind to me, from the nurses to the anesthesiologist. I received a level of care that was unprecedented. Everyone deserves to feel this way, whether it’s an elective procedure or not.
Recovery was easier than I thought it would be. To my great surprise and delight, I could breathe, smell and taste by the 5th day post-op. I actually thought I looked pretty cute in the cast.
Satisfaction immediately after surgery has a lot to do with the cosmetic issues you are addressing. When I had my first consultation with Dr. Liotta, she asked me what the 3 main things were that I was looking to achieve. My big three were 1) straighten the bridge (as much as possible - perfection isn’t possible due to it being a revision but we were looking for 80% better and seriously she got me 95% of the way there) 2) rotate the tip up a few degrees and lastly 3) shorten it significantly. She absolutely delivered on all 3.
Not only is she world-class in terms of skill, she is incredibly friendly and someone you would want to socialize with. Any time I texted her during my recovery, she got back to me in under 2 minutes, day or night, weekend or not. When you're going through any surgery, especially a revision, you don't want to take chances. She was worth every penny.

I will post a photo update once I reach the 3 month mark.
