Revision Rhinoplasty with Dr Murat Enöz, Istanbul, Turkey

The pinching slowly became more visible
WORTH IT$3,969
Over time as I mentioned, the pinching in my nose has become more pronounced along with the nostril retraction. I went back to Murat Enöz in July 2020 hoping that I he could improve the pinching by having a non surgical tweak of filler injections to the harsh lines however, that did not help at all and left me looking worse. The only way to correct this is through another revision hence why I mentioned before that I have be having further surgery with a new surgeon in March

2.5 years update.
After two and a half years, there have been a few issues to arise. First is the slow collapse of my nostrils(alar wings) and the second is base retraction focused more on the left side. These issues have also highlighted asymmetry of the nostrils as well. I have booked a small closed revision with another surgeon in March 2021 and I look forward to fixing these issues and moving forward.

Thank you for sharing. Would you still recommend Dr Murat Enoz? I must admit that despite the few issue that arose, the shape of your nose is beautiful.
Thank you xx I would recommend him to deal with any breathing/septal issues you may have. However, Dr Enöz is very conservative in his approach aesthetically, I do feel that there are a lot more surgeons, especially in Turkey who are more skilled in creating more refined noses as I feel dr Enöz can tend to play safe meaning multiple trips back for tweaks.
Yes, I see what you mean. However, the more refined nose shape is something that must be carefully considered against any potential breathing and functional issues that this might create when is too aggressive and not suitable for a certain patient. I think that Dr Enoz, as an ETN surgeon, is particularly sensible to that. Because he knows exactly what breathing problems would be when a rhinoplasty is too aggressive. However, don't change the current shape too much in your next revision. I really think your nose is beautiful. Good luck :)
Yes thanks, my next surgery is also with an Otolaryngologist. After multiple consultations with a number of specialist, all have come to the same conclusion that there are structural issues as I mentioned that must be addressed. The asymmetry is a vanity issue in my behalf x
I wouldn’t mind doing the alars in a second stage because some surgeons narrow too much so I rather assess after how much needs to be done
I think the opposite is true, most surgeons in Turkey can’t narrow wide tips in revision patients, I saw two great ones by Murat so this is disheartening to read, who’s doing your next revision?
Hello - could you let me know why you went ahead with Dr Murat Enoz? I can't seem to find too much about him online. He also won't do a video consultation so the first time I would meet him is a day before my surgery.
Will this be your 3rd revision moving on? How is the swelling 2.5 years latrr
Yes this will be the third. Still have lots of swelling. I am still taping every night and there is a huge visible difference in my nose when I tape for the night vs when I don't. Part of me thinks that the residual swelling is extra scar tissue so hoping to address this the next time around
Your Nose looks good ! A Nose can never be perfect - please don't do a revision! It will be worse and you will regret it - i know that i am talking about . You also mentioned that you still have lots of swelling - after the revision your swelling will be even worse potatoe like - dont' touch the Nose it looks good !
I am currently 3.5 years post op from my 2nd revision.. still have residual swelling.. at this point I'm thinking some of this swelling may be permanent.. waiting for my 5 year post op mark to see how swelling is then. Ideally thought of doing a small minor revision but not sure how future swelling will be and if it's worth living with the swelling for a slightly better nose... Weighing the pros and cons..does removal of scar tissue decrease swelling?
The Swelling of my 4th Rhinoplasty also lasted 4 years.
Scar Tissue is the reason, try accupuncture it helped a few people to break it BEFORE considering another surgey. It doesn't matter if you do a small or big revision - the Skin needs again to be dissected from the Bone - thats means again (and more) swelling, longer healing time and more Scar Tissue. Believe me, your Nose looks good! You want to a little bit of this and a little bit of that - but when the Cast comes of you will have a completely different Nose and you will regret it . Just a REAL and good advice

I agree , as I've been down that road and we all know swelling is not fun to deal with. My seasonal allergies always swell up my nose and at the rate it's going it would need 5years post op healing time. When you mean accupunture did you mean on the nose directly?
Yes good advice so many noses risk deformity by being operated on again
Don’t do it your nose is cute! There is massive risk of regret, one tweak could lead to a big deformity
Did you try cortisone injection for edema?
Hi to all. Can somebody please tell me is healing time shorter after 1st surgery? Do we always need revision? Can 1st surgery be our last? I am still looking for an options where to go.
I did my third revision 10 years ago and until today, I’m suffering from swelling. I’m still taping my nose every night too. My kids keep asking me why I do that all these years. If I don’t, my nose would look bigger and less defined. However I’m starting to think that it has less to do with swelling and more due to my doctor reducing the structure of my nose more than he should have and my skin wouldn’t contract. Ugh. I also spoke with dr. Murat, he wanted to use “big cartilages” to rebuilt my nose. That kinda scared me thinking my nose may look even bigger than it looks now. If anyone has any ideas please let me know
I had the Same Problem After my 4t rhino! Now i know that it was because i was Lack of cartilage / structure . Thé Skin could Not sit because there was nothing. I got a reconstruction with rib cartilage and Now i don’t suffer with Prolonged Swelling anymore
I’m happy for you! I’d love to see a before and after photo of your nose to see how it looks. Can I pm you?
Could you please tell me who did your last revision that finally fixed the issues with your nose?

The top picture was my natural/original nose before any surgery, the one below was 9 months after my first rhinoplasty that I had done in Belgium, the third picture shows my nose after the first revision that I had done in Belgium and the bottom picture is what my nose looks like now after correctional surgery done by Dr Murat Enöz. In the top and bottom pictures I have foundation on but no highlight or contour.

It looks so good!
Thank you so much xx
Beautiful! I remember your other reviews from your previous rhinoplasties! So glad to see you are satisfied now. I myself have had 2 rhinoplasties and I’m looking for a doctor to do my second and hopefully final revision! It’s pretty daunting!!
Omg thank you so much! It's been a crazy ride to say the least lol. I hope you found the doc for the revision, and all goes/has gone well xx
I think Murat reduced it to perfect proportions for you
Which doctor did you go to in Belgium? I have similar bulbous results. I went to Noorman van der dussen. I think I'm going to go to Turkey for my tip revision
