Dr. Guyuron Saved my Nose - Now, I have a nice nose; I love the structure of it, and I can properly breathe again

I am eternally grateful to Dr. Guyuron for literally saving my nose. After a very bad accident with MRSA about ten years ago, several other surgeons had tried to salvage my nose, to no avail. A few of those surgeries (by doctors who claimed to know what they were doing, but in fact didn’t) made things worse. When I moved to New York, I consulted with a few top rated plastic surgeons who all said they did not dare to touch my nose which required extensive reconstruction, i.e. more than just cosmetic work. A couple of them honestly admitted that they did not have the skills and experience and highly recommended Dr. Guyuron. By the time I saw him, my nose was deformed and I had problems breathing. Dr. Guyuron was very patient in managing my expectations and in explaining the process of how he was going to salvage it (staggered surgeries). The internal bone structure and septum were badly damaged, he needed to use my own fat, ear and rib cartilages in several surgeries over two years. There was almost no pain and each surgery improved my nose. I love his staff - Doreen, Mary, Tracy and all others. They are very caring and professional. I had to fly in from NY for each surgery and was well taken care of with nursing care and logistical support. Undoubtedly, Dr. Guyuron is an extremely skilled surgeon, his knowledge and skills are unparallelled. Now, I have a nice nose; I love the structure of it, and I can properly breathe again. I don’t think any other doctor could have done what Dr. Guyuron did for my nose. Other doctors who have seen my current nose have said the same.
