Almost 3 years later

It’s been almost three years. It continues to get worse. I’m unrecognizable. Everything is collapsing. PLEASE don’t go to Dr. Freeman, he is not trustworthy. What he did to my face is abhorrent. When I woke up from my surgery the CRNA says that my heart was fluttering during the surgery. Did that make him rush through? Who knows!

20 months later.....

I have not been so bold as to upload pictures because it has been too mortifying to do so. But I hope this helps someone. After about 10 months post-op the right side of my nose collapsed. So here I am again with an asymmetrical nose. But also a nose I can’t breathe out of (I’m now a mouth breather). Initially I HATED the way my nose looked post-op, but at least I could say it was symmetrical, not anymore. Now I hate the way my nose looks and it’s just as crooked as it was before. I don’t know if I expected too much from Dr. Freeman, but I can tell you he is no miracle worker. And that my friends is what you want in a plastic surgeon....a miracle worker.

Just Don’t...,

I chose Dr. Freeman to perform a revision rhinoplasty on me. One side of my nose had slowly collapsed over the years, it looked crooked and my breathing worsened with time. Dr. Freeman seemed confident in his ability to help me. What I repeated at every appointment and even the day of surgery was that I didn’t want my nose to be smaller and I wanted to breathe better. When I woke from my surgery it was astounding how different my nose looked. He made EVERY aspect of my nose smaller. It is wildly disappointing. My thought was that he would put cartilage in to support the collapsed side but he just reshaped my entire nose. It looks awful...truly. What makes me equally upset is that my breathing is worse. When I went back for my follow up appointments and he knew I wasn’t happy with my outcome he became abrupt and rough. His consultation was really short and there is no imaging, you have no visual idea what your outcome will be. I am 40, this will be my nose till I die. That sucks. It’s been over 9 months and I’m still struggling, I think I always will. Don’t make the same mistake I did. There are some things in life that you can’t take back.
