WORTH IT
I had two nose surgeries done by the same "highly regarded" doctor (primary and revision) and my nose was collapsing and twisted. Dr. Liotta completely worked MAGIC to give me the nose of my dreams. It was a really complicated procedure and she was clear on expectations going in. The result, at only 3 months out while still swollen, has far exceeded what was expected. She is also the kindest, most caring doctor who you just want to be friends with. Her warmth and professionalism is like no one else. I trust her 10000% and if you are choosing a doctor, look no further, she's the one.

Congratulations on your results, and thank you for sharing your experience. I had a septoplasty done 5 months ago and now my nose is collapsing. I'd like to have a rhinoplasty and also fix the breathing issues I still have, including the valve collapse. Did your surgeon have to use grafts like ear or rib to fix the collapse or how did he fix it? I have the thought that once the nose has collapsed it's because it lacks support, which means it lacks cartilage, therefore it needs to be fixed with grafts taken from ear or rib. Regards and thanks again.

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear. I understand how disappointing and frustrating it is. Dr. Liotta (she) used irradiated rib for my graft. I think after two prior surgeries that was the best choice and the most workable option. I don't exactly know the technicalities that. You will probably need to wait a year to fully heal and then maybe look into a revision. My advice is to go to a different doctor. I went to the same doctor (NOT Dr. Liotta) two times (mostly because of the cost) and that was a big mistake as he messed up both times. He has a good reputation in NYC so it was surprising. You can never be too careful when it comes to your face. Good luck to you.

Your nose looks fabulous! I'd also like to know the original surgeon as I am considering a reconstruction myself.

I thought you were allowed to say the doctors name good or bad. Isn’t that what this site is about.

Do you mind telling us who your previous NYC surgeon was... trying to avoid a similar mistake. Thanks in advance

Happy to tell you in a private conversation. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to say publicly here. Is there a way to message me directly?

Can you send me a message on here? Not sure if that's allowed. Happy to tell you about my previous surgeon.

It looks amazing! Very similar to how mine looks now. Do you mind sharing how much it was?

Around 20k.. worth every penny. May be more than typical because it was a 3rd surgery and more complex. Plus I should have added in the review that the day after surgery even when healing I could already breathe a million times better. Before I snored, whistled and had constricted breathing through nose. Now it's so clear and comfortable and airways work like they should!

Does she accept insurance. I need a revision badly but can't afford $20k. TIA

Your nose looks great! Your before photos resemble my nose currently and I am looking for a suitable surgeon to correct it. I had my primary 5 years ago and then went back to the same surgeon a year later for revision which didn’t resolve anything. It’s such an overwhelming process looking for the right surgeon as I don’t want to go through the emotional trauma that followed the last two procedures. May I also ask who your original surgeon was? How are you feeling about everything now? :)
