Best decision ever - unforgettable journey

I genuinely don’t know where to start. Sorry for the long essay but I just want to make sure that I cover all the points. After my Primary septorhinoplasty, I was left devastated when I saw the results, both functionally and aesthetically.Initially I was hopeful and had convinced myself that with time the results would get better but I was wrong. Thus after a year I began my search for a doctor for my revision. I mostly searched for doctors in the US and UK but I soon learned that there were so many cases were patients were left botched by the top most recognizable doctors in the field.

A friend of mine recommended that I look into Turkish surgeons as their techniques are modern and far far superior when compared to US and UK. During my research I came across several doctors but only one of them caught my attention, Dr, Suleyman Tas. Since I’d been recommended and I liked what I saw, I didn’t hesitate and booked my consultation with him. FYI, he has a 6 months waiting list so id recommend you get on it quick if you’re thinking about getting a surgery.

I know it can be scary and stressful traveling to another country for a surgery but rest assured Dr.Tas is the most genuine down to earth doctor that I’ve come across. He is so welcoming and caring and you could tell that his intentions are pure and his only aim is to satisfy his patients needs and overall happiness. I too was very nervous initially but all of my worries went away as soon as I met Dr.Tas, I knew I was in best hands. My case was especially hard, I have thick and oily skin, thus I had very realistic expectations.

However, what I learned was that Dr.Tas doesn’t settle for anything less than the best result possible. Just to mention that perfection doesn’t exist in the world and in this case in rhinoplasty. But rest assured, be on point during your consultation in terms of what your wishes are and Dr.Tas will recommend and tell you what the ideal result would be for you depending on your skin types, number of previous surgeries and etc.Just know that Dr.Tas will do his very best, cause only he’d know medically how much changes he can make without jeopardizing the breathing and other functional parts.

On the surgery day, mine was in Acibadem Hospital (legit better than a 5 star hotel). The surgery was over in a jiff. After the surgery I practically felt no pain at all, only discomfort cause your nose is clogged. I was discharged the very next day and spent the rest of the week in my hotel room recovering and ordering room service. First two days are uncomfortable (no pain) and then you could slowly start to feel like yourself again. Bruising will go in no time and swelling is far far less compared to other surgeons cause Dr.Tas performs all surgeries through the world renowned Closed Atraumatic Technique which preserves the tissue and thus results in less swelling.

Don’t worry about cast removal, there is no pain at all. Since mine was a revision case (thick and oily skin), I had convinced myself that there would be a lot of swelling and to not freak out. But when I first saw my nose I was in complete shock, it was exactly what I had asked for and even though only 7 days had passed it felt like 6 months, the result were that good and will get even better with time. If someone with a as difficult case as mine could get almost perfect result than you truly have nothing to worry about. The team is very fast when replying to your concerns also, aftercare is splendid. In summary, Dr. Suleyman Tas and the entire team are the most angelic people I’ve come across my entire life.

From Arda, Elvira, Oznur, Burcu and his entire clinic, they are so kind, caring and compassionate people, I know it's hard to stay jolly when working in the medical field, but all of them were so very supportive throughout the entire process. I can proudly say without any hesitation that they have become my extended family cause they truly do want the best for you. If you are traveling alone, don’t stress too much cause you’re never truly alone, cause the team is with you throughout the entire process, just a message away.

All in all trust me on this, just have a consultation with Dr.Tas and you will realize just truly how knowledgeable and caring the doctor is. Do remember aftercare is just as important, have patience as it can take unto a year for the final result. Id just like to end by saying that this was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life and I am truly thankful for everything Dr.Tas and his entire team have done for me. Unforgettable Journey.
