Consultation with Doctor Yoo - our consult did not last long

Consultation Fee Was $250, not $300
I stand corrected, I paid $250 for the consultation. That is still one of the highest fees I have paid for a consultation to date. I was expecting more from it than what I received. I wonder if Dr. Yoo reviewed my photos and case before our consult.

may I ask what kind of nose you have and what you wanted him to fix on your nose? Just want to have an idea of why even Turned you down , because I also want to consult with him but am scared he will do the same to me.

I have a round, bulbous nose, with severe nostril aasymetry and bridge deviation. I would require a significant amount if work to repair.
If you have nostril asymmetry, please do not go to dr. Yoo. I had slight nostril asymmetry and a slightly deviated septum, he said he will make my nose more symmetrical and straight, during consultation he made my morphed nose look straight, but in reality my nose ended up even more crooked and asymmetrical! The tip is extremely twisted and it is so fake looking. It is so horrible. I am so self conscious now, and I avoid going to holiday parties because I am embarrassed of this new ugly nose.

I would ask if I could get botox or filler or if they have a med spa and ask if the fee can be applied towards that treatment since the "250" would have gone towards the surgery. That's my game plan

Consultation with Doctor Yoo
I had a consultation with Dr. Yoo in spring of 2019. I found doctor Yoo to be pleasant, but I was charged $300 for him to tell me that he did not feel I was in need of a revision from him, and that my aesthetic goals will not be achievable. I basically feel he meant, that he did not feel he had the skills (or interest), to repair my nose. He mentioned that he accepts patients that he feels he can improve, and he did not feel that he would be able to improve my nose. I honestly do not know why he still needed to collect $300 to tell me so. Our consult did not last long either.
After reading reviews, it seems that he is not giving patients the results they were looking for. In short, I am glad that he declined surgery with me.

You made the right choice. I wish I worked away too, but I had already booked the surgery based on his social media. Sadly, it was a huge mistake. Now I'm looking for another revision desperately. But I'm not ready mentally physically and financially to go through that again.
I would like to know what you do not like about his work?

It's a blessing in disguise. It's good that he declined to do your revision. Because I also regretted doing mine with hm.

I had a consult w him (needed a revision w rib cartilage) but his simulation of what my nose would look like after surgery didn’t not align with my goals. He was nice but seemed stubborn in his view of what makes a nice nose. I ended up going to Istanbul and I am so happy I did. The result my surgeon achieved is a miracle given the complexities. It doesn’t even look like a revision.

Oh wow I'm glad and happy for you I have a consultation with Dr. Yoo 2 weeks from now but I think i'm pretty set with Dr. Umit Taskin in istanbul but wanted to check other doctors out there that's comfortable with Rib cartilage but hey he might tell me the same thing like he told the others.
