Amazing Rhinoplasty Revision
WORTH IT
This is a long one y’all, so buckle up. After having my nose operated on three times, I can say that Dr. Harirchian is one of the most skilled revision rhino surgeons in Houston, if not all of Texas!
My first rhinoplasty wasn’t botched, but I had not researched surgeons enough, so sadly the plastic surgeon I chose ended up doing a terrible job. Hanging columella, noticeable deviation, elongated/pulled tip, breathing issues…and definitely not aesthetically what I was hoping for. After waiting the necessary year, I started doing revision rhino consults hoping to fix the glaring mistakes my surgeon (who refused to hear my concerns and insisted he wouldn’t do a revision) had made. Several well known Houston rhino docs said they wouldn’t touch my nose based on all of the issues my first surgeon had made, and I was incredibly upset that I had paid SO much money for a result I liked even less than my original nose.
Enter Dr. Harirchian! At my consult she listened to my concerns and discussed limitations in potential results based on my prior surgery. She was honest about what we could achieve together, and made sure I had realistic expectations for my revision. Our first surgery together was May 2021, and she was able to fix the deviation, hanging columella, and nostril issues my previous surgeon had left me with, but I still felt my nose was too large compared to the rest of my facial features, and I was still having some breathing problems. I was so nervous at my post op appointment to tell her I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the revision, and was cursing my first operation for having made things so difficult.
At that post-op appointment, instead of gaslighting me or telling me that there was nothing more to do, Dr. Harirchian listened to my remaining concerns and I was so surprised when not only she agreed with me, but offered to do another revision, without the surgeons fee, so I could get closer to the results I wanted. Of course we needed to wait a year for cartilage healing, but here I am 3 months post op from May 2022, and I couldn’t be happier with my results!! I feel that I finally have the nose that was meant to fit MY face (not a clone nose that is common nowadays) , and my breathing issues are completely gone!
Thank you Dr. Harirchian for not giving up on me, and for working so hard correcting a messed up job that wasn’t yours to begin with. I am finally done with facial surgery for awhile (lol), and feel so grateful to have this finally behind me after 4 frustrating years! Dr. Harirchian’s attentiveness, compassion, skill, bedside manner, and commitment are all unparalleled in my humblest of opinions, and I will always be so grateful and appreciative of this experience, even if it took a little more time to get to the finish line. Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Harirchian.

are you happy after your revision?
I am, yes! Still some hard cartilage in the tip 20 months post op, but that was after 3 surgeries so I’ll take it! (Also, I’m the original poster, but FB logged me in under a different account, not sure what that’s about). Hope this was helpful! :)
i’m looking to get a revision by the same surgeon. i am not happy with my results after the initial surgery. im just feeling nervous to go back to the same surgeon

But, I'm glad that you finally have the results you wanted. Gives me some hope. BTW - you look beautiful in all of your pictures.
