Dr. Nima is a Revision Rhinoplasty PRO!
I had my primary rhinoplasty in 2015 with a surgeon in Canada (I'm Canadian) and unfortunately, I was left with a completely abnormal result.
Originally, all I wanted was to remove "the hump" (IYKYK) and improve my breathing, but, instead, I was left with an upturned, twisted, mess of a nose.
Frontal view, side view, bottom view, they were all a mess. Even worse, my breathing went from bad to worse. I went back to the same surgeon for a revision in 2016 and the outcome was even worse than my primary.
Anyone who has been botched, especially their face, knows how this story goes. The issues became an obsession. When I looked in the mirror, I saw a stranger. I didn't feel like me. My self-confidence took a major nose-dive (pun intended). I became a shell of myself and it affected every part of my life - friendships, relationships, my career... everything.
Over the next several years, I began searching for a surgeon who specializes in revisions. Unfortunately, in Canada - my options were limited. I saw two surgeons in BC who told me they wouldn't touch my nose (as it was going to be too complex of a surgery). I even flew across the Country to see our top doc in Toronto - just to have him tell me he likely couldn't get me the result I wanted.
Defeated, I went back home and tried to process the fact that this was the face I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life. But my self confidence issues took over... and on top of everything, the fact that I could barely breathe through my nose was becoming a daily struggle.
Fast forward to 2023 - and somewhat of a total fluke - one of Dr. Nima's videos popped up on my TikTok feed. Immediately, I was drawn to his personality. After a deep-drive through his TikTok account, and then his RealSelf profile, and seeing the AMAZING results he had been able to achieve with his revisions, I knew I had to reach out... and HOLY, AM I EVER GLAD I DID.
After my original consult in April, I knew this was my guy. First of all, he's the nicest human being you'll ever meet. He immediately put me at ease. He felt very confident he would be able to address ALL of the issues I was having - appearance-wise and functionally. He walked me through his process and his plan - and he instilled in me all of the confidence I didn't get from my other surgical consults.
I booked my surgery for August - flew down to LA for the week - where Dr. Nima and his fabulous team ended my 8 year nightmare.
Everything during the process of the surgery was flawless from pre-op through surgery day, through post-op and recovery. I felt extremely calm knowing I was in the best hands. Every step was communicated to me perfectly along the way. Nothing felt rushed. All of my questions and concerns were answered thoroughly.
The EOS team is so highly involved the entire way - even though I flew down for surgery alone, I felt like I had amazing support the entire time. I had Dr. Nima, Jasman and Rajneet checking up on me often throughout the first week after surgery (and STILL - every few weeks through the healing process!). There was no pain, no complications, no issues - it was just such a positive experience.
Dr. Nima showed me post-op pics immediately after surgery and I could NOT believe the result he was able to achieve. I would have been happy if he had just made my nose look "normal" again, but he went above and beyond and gave me the BEAUTIFUL nose I had been dreaming of.
When the cast came off a week after surgery and I was able to finally see the result in person - I was in shock (in the best way). Then the stents came out - and I took my first breath through my new nose... and it felt like I was taking the first real breath I've ever taken in my life. I never knew my breathing could be SO GOOD.
When you read other reviews here that say things like "Dr. Nima is a magician" and "Dr. Nima is the best of the best" ... they're REAL, they're TRUE. And here's another review telling you - Dr. Nima is hands down, the ONE you need to see.
My only regret is that I didn't go to him for my primary.
I am now 13 weeks post-op and though I'm still swollen (thick skin, 2nd revision, to be expected) - I am in love with my result. I look in the mirror and I see ME again - and after 8 years, you wouldn't believe what a trip that is. My confidence is finally coming back. I'm starting to feel like myself again. I can BREATHE.
I know it's just going to keep getting better and better from here on out and I can't wait to see the final result over the course of the next couple of years.
