Bad scar from revision rhinoplasty

ORIGINAL POST

Bad scar from revision rhinoplasty

$20,000
I paid $20,000 for a revision rhinoplasty with Dr Kolstad and was left with an unsightly asymmetric scar that makes it very noticeable that I've had surgery. There is a noticeable ledge or step off that you can see and feel. It looks like thick, puffy skin we sewed onto normal skin is the only was I can describe it. Dr kolstad barely looked at the scar and offered me a laser treatment that did absolutely nothing. I saw two other plastic surgeons for their opinions and they both told me that my original surgeon should have offered to do a scar revision under local anesthesia for free, and that is what they would have done for their patients. I don't feel like my result is worth $20,000 and don't feel like I should have been left with a scar like this that makes me very insecure and draws attention to my nose.
