1-week post-op. Got my stitches removed today. So happy w/the results already, I could cry! I don’t think I really bruised at all but had normal swelling. The ice packs I was given helped a lot. Excited for the final results after a full recovery.I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Choi’s miracle work on my revision dbl eyelid surgery. I had a pretty traumatizing experience with my first eyelid surgery about 8 years ago. The creases were uneven after my initial surgery, and the doctor performed a revision on my left eye on the day I was supposed to remove stitches. I really wanted to avoid having another surgery but over the past ~2 years, my left eye crease became undone and created a multiple fold, unsymmetrical look with excess skin that was very bothersome.I had a couple revision consults with other Drs before meeting with Dr. Choi, and immediately after consulting with Dr. Choi, I knew I wanted to move forward with him because of how comfortable I felt with him and his work – I am so, so happy with my decision! He is very kind and knowledgeable, and his experience and expertise are very evident even just from our consult conversation.I really appreciated how he thoroughly explained the whole surgical procedure that he was going to perform even again on the day of surgery to make sure that I understood exactly what he would be doing. He really took time to understand the look that I wanted to achieve and provided a recommendation unique to the anatomy of my eyelids and my specific situation going on.The LA office staff are amazing too – Susie and Karen were so attentive and on top of things. I never felt like I was just a rushed patient who was penciled into a schedule. Whenever I called in for a question or concern, they were quick to get Dr. Choi’s opinion which put my anxiety at ease. I tried not to show it, but I was extremely nervous about getting a revision surgery based on my past experience, but the nurse at VIP was also very sweet and had a comforting demeanor. My whole experience with the revision eyelid surgery with Dr. Choi and the LA office was seamless and anxiety-free!I don’t normally post such thorough reviews, or review at all for that matter, but I know I relied religiously on RealSelf reviews while researching doctors so I feel compelled to share how amazing my experience was. Highly recommend Dr. Choi!

Where did you do the 1st surgery ?
First surgery was at Dream Medical Group LA. I should clarify that my first surgery was many years ago and although my creases turned out uneven, I was able to kinda hide it with makeup. The unfolding of my left eye crease and visible asymmetry didn't occur until about 2 yrs ago. Dr. Choi advised that it’s possible that the unfolding could’ve happened because of loss of fat around my eye. Naturally I don’t have a lot of fat around my eyes so I’m glad he took that into consideration when doing the revision. :)
Thanks for the info, I have consultation with him next week. I did my double eyelid surgery in Korea, also un-even crease, and they didn't tell me they lifted my midcheeck & incision below lash to reduce dark circle, I was only asking for under eyefat reposition with inside incision, not below lash, they're bad ! May I know how much it cost for your revision with Dr. Choi ? Thanks
