All cleared up

So as the swelling went down my newfound "jowls" went away. I went on a low-dose antibiotic plus topical and my skin cleared right up. I thought my skin looked better, but didn't know for sure until a friend saw me (one who didn't know I'd gotten anything done) and said "oh my god your skin looks amazing! What did you do?" That, to me, says it was a success :-)

A Little Terrified at the Moment

Jury's out but I'm worried. From what I read (and what I was led to expect) I should have been red after the procedure and fine the next day. Unfortunately I woke up grotesquely swollen (like not able to smile, & looked like the world's most horrifying plastic surgery victim). By late that afternoon, much of the swelling had subsided, but now (two days later), I still can't go in public. I will post pics but my face is covered in whiteheads and track marks (like a miniature waffle iron was pressed all over my face), and it's actually CREATED jowls. I assume it's something to do with skin swelling but the skin on both sides of my jaw is hanging there and it looks beyond awful. Lots of people seem to have good results, but there are a few horror stories and I'm praying I'm not one of them.
