Unhappy with Tear Trough Treatment

Romina0523
I had one treatment of Restylane injected under my eyes almost one month ago for minor hollowing. Half a syringe under each. Injector used a cannula. I also had Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Voluma and Botox (one filler treatment for marionette area and another to lift my lower face injected into cheeks towards ears). I also had my lips done and botox one month prior to this appointment. I am happy with everything except my under eyes of which I posted pics. I returned to my injector two weeks after the under eye treatment and she stated I was still swollen and to give it another few weeks. She then massaged my under eyes and put me under a Stim Light. I honestly do not think this is swelling anymore. My pics were taken within the last three days. I now have wrinkly pouches and I did not have any bags before this procedure. The right eye is worse. Some days it gets puffier. Did she not go deep enough (she said she went very deep), is this Tyndall Effect, festoons? I am hoping it can be dissolved at least before the wedding. Thank you very much for reading :)

Do you still have that yellowish color in the area of the injection or it was residual bruising?

Had one treatment of Hyaluronidase

Romina0523
I had the tear trough filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase five days ago. I went to a different injector (plastic surgery office as opposed to a med spa). She stated she would try to dissolve as much as possible but will most likely need another treatment. I have a followup in two weeks. A good amount was dissolved but there is still some puffiness as seen in my recent pics. I also see yellowing in certain lighting. Not sure if it’s residual bruising or a side effect of the filler. After reading and seeing many videos about tear trough filler, I will not be getting it done again. According to many doctors it is too unreliable of an area to inject. It is the most delicate and complex. My new injector said she tries to stay away from injecting tear troughs and hides the issue by injecting the cheek area. Otherwise surgery is the best option. I will post an update after my next appointment. Thank you for reading.

I feel for you. I went through about the same thing.

I am also going through the same thing and I m trying to ask for a refund. It is so annoying because my injector refused to acknowledge my concerns. He tried to make me believe that it got better but I clearly remember my eye bags were not that obvious before getting the tear trough fillers. I got it removed at another clinic and immediately, the undereyes looked better. Hence, i do have a case here that the fillers did cause a complication. I do have some hollowness after removing the fillers. I only had the fillers for a month. I m hoping my tissue will recover n the hollowness will get better. It has been a distressing month.
