Another year later - UPDATE
Still lumps behind the ears, bumps in front of the ears, and 'fishing line' popping out here and there from under the skin.
Still burning pain around the ears.
My friend had a 'real' face lift last December, at a REAL board certified Plastic Surgeon, she looks great and does NOT have any of the horrible memories from her procedure and no painful after effects.
Her worst side effect, a little skin numbness on one side that went away in less than 2 months. She paid $10k, spent the night in the hospital and had regular follow up visits afterwards - all in the $10K price. AND she always saw the doctor, not an assistant, or sales rep.

Still have lumpy scars, lopsided face, shooting pains, trouble using the phone, sleeping on my side or wearing my glasses for more than a short period of time.
LSL is a pain filled, horrifying procedure done like you are in a 'jiffy lube', but 'Jiffy Lube' treats their customers far better. I have only been allowed to see the doctor one more time, and that is when I got the almost $10K offer that he could 'fix it' at his private practice (not at LSL).
Please, save your face, save your money, save your time, see a board certified plastic surgeon, in a real medical office, and not someone doing extensive and invavsive surgery in a dentist's chair in an office building. (non medical office building, no hospital facilities, no monitoring equipment, no medical staff on standby).

Is it true that there is a class action suit against Lifestyle Lift?
If so, how can I find out more about it?

Hey, welcome to realself and thanks for sharing your story with the rest of us. There is no shame or reason to feel stupid. I mean look at what they told you VS what you wound up with. Many women have had the same results as yourself. I am sorry that you feel alone, you are not. I did the same thing to myself and received no help what-so-ever from the LSL folks. I might as well have been throwing money out the window driving down the expressway. My time, effort and angst in trying to get someone from LSL to help me was rewarded with nasty emails, insinuations and promises of call backs, which never came. Of course they will fix it for additional money, My question for any potential person considering this "procedure" (which is really surgery) is: why can they not do it right the first time??? You state they can fix it at the doctors private practice for $9,500. So are you saying that the doctor that did the surgery also has his own private practice? Did they tell you this doctor had his own practice before you had surgery or did you find this out after? Just wondering because I had the same thing happen to me. Best to you, Chrystal Eckes
Thanks Chrystal for being there for the LSL community.

You Bet, I wish that I could do more! I had to wean myself away for awhile for my own sanity. But then every now and then, I just have to check in and see what is going on. It is true that LSL has changed their commercials, no longer saying that you can go back to work the next day but I still think that when it comes to truth, LSL has much to learn. I love the new commercials about the "LASER" procedure that they are now offering -- they use all the OLD commercials and circle the neck area & indicate that this is the Laser work that they are now offering. Wait a minute, you are using the same models/patients as when you were saying that it was a LSL... did they have the laser procedure done at that time? It is obvious to those of us who have seen the old commercials that the same commercials are being used, same women, but now they are saying that they have had the laser procedure. I don't get it! I hope that anyone considering this procedure (SURGERY) will also consider getting a 2nd and even a 3rd opinion from an American Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in his/her private practice. Ask lots of questions, and for goodness sake read the fine print, each and every line before you sign anything and put any money down! BE INFORMED! Best, Chrystal
Hey, just checking up on you. How are you doing now. Are you feeling any better? How is your healing going? I wish you well. Best, Chrystal
