I have read so many helpful reviews and experiences here that I felt compelled to give back by sharing my own experience, in case someone else out there happens to be in a similar boat as I am now.
Here are my stats: I am 35 yrs old, 126 lbs with 3 kids (15/10/5). I've always been pretty flat since my adolescent and puberty years. I did, however, ended up with a 34C when I nursed all three kids. Now that I've lost all of my pregnancy weight, I became deflated, and the more I exercise and lose body fat, the flatter I become. I am now a 34A or 34AA. I've always wanted to have a BA done for years but never really considered it due to fear of getting ridiculed and judged by family and friends. Now, I am at a point in my life where I want to make decisions for myself and not for the people I'm trying to please. I didn't mention this to my hubby until a few months ago, and he is fully supportive of my decision to have the procedure done. Well, I'm sure he'll be way more than thrilled with the results afterwards. ????
Fast forward, I have chosen my PS from Reston, VA. I have 11.5 cm breast width diameter, so the biggest I could get is 400cc Extra High Profile. So, after trying out several implants, I decided to have the 400cc. I probably could go bigger if I want to, but I don't want to go beyond what my breast width measurement is. I love the full frontal projection of UHP's, so I opted for that instead of the Full Profile.
My surgery is set for June 15, and I will have my pre-op next Friday, May 25th. I will share some of my before pics.

Pre-Op Appointment yesterday
FierceLexie06May 26, 2018
I had my pre-op appointment yesterday. I am 3 weeks out from my surgery date. I will be out of town for a business trip next weekend, that's why I schedule my pre-op one week early. I got a total of 8 prescriptions and I'm thankful that my insurance covered all of them. I didn't get any bloodwork requests as I had recently had a physical with my doctor, so I only asked for a copy of my latest bloodwork results. ???? I am to stop taking my multivitamins from now until surgery. I could still take Vitamin C and my birth control. Three weeks couldn't come fast enough, but I'm sure it'll be here before we know it.

Yessss! This time next week, I'll have my new boobies! Haha! I've been so busy with work and kids' end-of-school and sports activities that I was able to take my mind off of it. It made time fly by faster. I will be going to the store later to get all of6my pre-op essentials. I can't wait!!

Yay! Shopping for your post op stuff is fun and it gets you excited. What kind of items are you planning on getting? I'm not sure if you have someone who cooks in the house but I meal prepped a ton before surgery and it was one of the best decisions I made! It helped to have meals for the family already prepared and you can just toss it in the microwave, so easy!

I might look for some buttoned-front work tops since most of my work clothes now will definitely not fit me after surgery.

My PS also asked me to get small baby diapers to be used for ice packs. He said many of his patients swear by it and made them not take pain meds as much. What other pain management did you do while on recovery?

This time next week, I'll have my new boobies!! Woohoo! I am sooo excited. I have stayed busy with work and kids' end-of-year and sports activities, so that helped me take my mind off of my BA. That made time fly by faster and now, I am officially six days away from surgery. I will be heading out to the store today to buy my post-op essentials. I will only be taking off 2 days of work, June 15 and 18, and hope to return to work by Tuesday, June 19. I'm a computer programmer and sit and code on my desk all day, so there's nothing physically strenuous about my job that could hinder my recovery. I do, however, still want to play it by ear before returning to work. I'm fortunate enough to be able to work from home if needed, and my hubby and I work for the same organization but different division, so he can drive me to work if needed. We're also just 7-10 mins away from work, so if I need to come home if I don't feel well, I am not that far away. Anyway, my PS told me to buy baby diapers to be used as post-op ice packs. He said most of his patients swear by it. He said most of them barely took pain meds when they did the cold compress religiously (20 mins ON, 20 mins OFF round the clock for 3 days). Has anyone on here used this method? I also purchased the Arnica Montana tablets. I've heard a lot of good things about that as well and PS recommended it also. I just bought mine from Amazon because one bottle from my PS office cost $50. All of my prescription has been filled, and thankfully, my insurance covered all of them. Anyway, I will be posting my next update next week.

I’m from Falls Church and mine scheduled on June 14!
I am working from home and try to get back to work the very next day. But I will also play by ear. Diaper cold pack sounds good! I will try that!!
I’m getting 325 or 350 cc high profile for me. I’m 5’2 skinny, saggy nipples with 29’ rib cage AA. Can’t wait to have new boobies too.
Good luck to you!

That is sooo exciting! Best of luck to you on your BA this Thursday. I will have mine done at Austin-Weston Cosmetic Surgery Center (Reston VA). I'm supposed to get a call on Wednesday for the final time of my surgery.

Mine is at Dominion Plastic Surgery. Mine starts at noon, but asking them exactly how early I should arrive. I am staying away from heavy meal and alcohol this week!
Good luck to both of us June ladies!!
