I've been sleeping pretty well and staying fairly comfortable for the most part. I still get some muscle spasms especially on my left side. My chest still feels tight but I can take deep breathes without difficulty. My breasts still sit high and are pretty firm with little movement. I look forward to them dropping and softening. I can't wait until I'm not bloated from the surgery anymore.

Hi! How are things going? I'm scheduled to get 295cc HP in 2 weeks and am freaking out. I'm also very active and don't want anything too big... but also don't want to go too small. Do you have any updated pics that you can post?? Also, are yours High Profile as well? I'm shorter than you at 5'4" but am also about 120lbs and have a bwd of 11.5. Any update would be very appreciated!!!!

Day of surgery !

I'm on the other side! I was moving a little slow for the first couple hours after waking up but I am fairly comfortable. I'm applying ice in 20 minute intervals and I have no pain. Just a tightness in my chest like someone is sitting on it and limited arm movement. I took a valium when I got home after surgery but I have not needed anything stronger. I'm just resting at this point and feeling pretty good!

Congratulations for being brave and going thru with it!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story... My story, situation, life style, body type, outlook, etc. etc.. are SO similar! Due to my schedule and our business (wedding season!) my surgery isn't until the end of October. So I have plenty of time to stress and second guess this decision even though I have contemplated it for about 20years! It is helpful to know that I am not the only one that doesn't feel that the "Go Big or Go Home" mentality is right for me. I am 90% sure I would regret going too big but keep going back and forth on size... Please post what size you ended up going with.. Any pictures, updates, shared thoughts and feelings that you are experiencing would be so helpful and appreciated! I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery! Thanks again :) ~Kari in Seattle

Hi Kari, I just had my post op Check up this morning and the doctor says everything is looking good. I'm pretty comfortable sitting down and have a little pain when I stand up but my range of motion is much better and today I'm able to get around much more independently. I did go with the 295cc. I will post some pictures in the next couple days. I'm still pretty wrapped up and have been icing in intervals. The ice really helps and also adds to the compression in addition to the strap above the bra pushing things down. I'm not sure about the size yet. I just got a peak during the post op checkup, but things are still kind of distorted and high so it is hard to get a feel for what the size actually is.

My whole surgery only took a half hour so it was pretty quick and it seems like it was a pretty simple procedure with no complications.
