Now getting neck lift

After I showed before and after pictures of myself in exact or similar poses from various angles, my doctor and his nurse finally really saw the problem, which they'd acknowledged but didn't really understand the extent of.
I guess this just happens to some people -- a risk of the procedure. He suggested a few different tightening alternatives but felt the best option was a neck/lower face lift, which I agree with.
Everything else separate or together just seemed like the results would be too unsure. So looks like I'm heading in for a traditional neck lift after all.

Made Things So Much Worse
A little looseness in the wattle area was driving me nuts and was considering a neck lift, but when I read about J-plasma I was so excited! I thought I can get the results without scarring and with a more natural look.
I was a little concerned because I've heard before that non-surgical procedures can make the neck look worse if you don't have extra fat but the doctor assured me this would not be the case.
(PS I'm not including his info in here because he's been fantastic and I don't want him associated with the negative outcome of the procedure. It's new and I believe I'm his first casualty -- I've seen some of his other patients in person and they look great)
So anyway, my neck looked absolutely horrible at first with deep grooves. I'll post pics later of the recovery process as well. But throughout I kept thinking and kept being told that as time passed it would be a continuous improvement.
Turned out to be pretty much the opposite. My neck and jawline look a million times worse than before the procedure. And this is AFTER being treated a bunch of times with filler and skintite, plus a very expensive serum and cream that they gave me, which did actually help a little bit with the weird wrinkly look on the adam's apple area.
The two pics here where I look good are my before pictures. The three where my neck looks saggy and loose were taken this week, just over five months after the procedure.
So, I'm going for my umpteenth appointment to try to figure out how to fix this, and I'm thinking it's going to end up being a real neck lift, which I didn't even need until I got Renuvion.

So sorry for your complications. I have facial scars. Unlucky us.

The scars have no pigment now, 2 years later. Yes, burns.
Using Renuvion/JPlasma for skin tightening is not FDA approved. The company's own document https://www.renuvion.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/renuvion-ref_holcomb_schucker_helium-plasma-skin-regen_lsm2019.pdf states, in part, "The use of the terms “skin rejuvenation” in relation to the use of the Renuvion/J-Plasma technology has not been approved or cleared by the FDA. The dermal resurfacing indication for use discussed has not been approved or cleared by the FDA." The company pulled the FDA application because too many patients were not satisfied with the results. Doctors should tell patients this and give us the information related to FDA complaints filed by others that had such a "treatment."

I did a neck lift first cause I had a little looseness. Looks way worse after so he did j plasma that made it even worse!! My neck looks worse than before I ever did anything. Now I actually have a big old jade waddle. So mad I did it don’t know what happened. So frustrating. Don’t know what to do now. I’m too scared to do anything at all now.
Who was your doctor? Did he do lipo along with it?
Exactly. Same with me. So much more looseness on throat but what kills me is my lower face. That area had not had any issues before and now I have these weird kind of skin jowls plus lines. Anyway I have a date set for a full neck/lower face lift now, which he is doing 100% free so this will be resolved for me presumably, but only after a whole surgical procedure.
Do you know why jplasma laser did that? Does it kill fat cells? Did the doctor give any explanation?

I get the sense that you need to have the extra fat for this to work well, but that's just my sense. I did not have any fat to be removed.

I went with my friend and we both did Renuvion. She looks great. I look like you! I am so disappointed in my neck. My jawline looks great but my neck has more wrinkles than my before photos. I think I am going to wait a few months and then figure out if I should do a neck lift.
Did your friend have more fat than you? Curious. I've now had fat transfer, which helps, but still need a lift for sure.
Is there a problem with jplasma laser wearing away fat cells beneath the skin?
