29 Year Old Mother of 2 Kids Via C-section, & Patient of Weight Loss Surgery Getting a Much Needed Mommy Makeover! YAY! Reno, NV
ORIGINAL POST
I am 29 years old and have had two beautiful kids...
$13,000
I am 29 years old and have had two beautiful kids who are 5 and 6 now. I had them both via c-section and was approx 280lbs when I had them both. For some time I was heavy but after getting pregnant and have my two kids I maxed my weight out at about 310lbs. I decided to have weight loss surgery and in January 2014 I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I lost nearly 140lbs and decided I need to get my mommy makeover.
I decided on Dr. Tiffany McCormack as my cosmetic surgeon because I loved her bed side manner and she was amazing during the consultation process. She was showing me pictures on her phone of her kids etc, she is just so friendly. We decided on a tummy tuck and a breast lift because I have enough tissue to where my breasts will still be fuller. I have my surgery scheduled for June 29 and I couldn't be more excited!!!!

Surgery date changed
Well I was originally going to have surgery last year but unfortunately lost both my parents within 3 months of each other so things have been pushed off. Because of traveling to be with family during this time and depression I gained about 15-20lbs back. I do have my surgery scheduled now for July 27 and can't wait. I am going to conquer and get that extra weight off me to be at my ideal weight or close too it. Current pictures of me below are attached

Finally had surgery on 7-27-2016
Well I have finally had my tummy tuck and breast lift a few days ago. Recovery has been ok, honestly not as painful as I have read. Every morning actually gets a little easier for me and the evenings are a little harder just because from moving around. I do highly recommend to stay on top of your pain killers and your muscles relaxers. I am also very very swollen.
I will try and keep this updated along the way. But here is a before and after.

Hi,
Congratulations on your recent surgery. I had my tt 6 months ago. I had a full cg that covered my entire upper and lower body (like a swimsuit) and had a slit in the bottom, supposedly to prevent having to remove the entire thing to use the RR; however, it did not work.. A snap up would have been so much better. The garment was not tight, but it was too short in the rise, and continually crept up my behind, which was a total nuisance. If you are the least bit over average height, then your rise is probably too short. If you are short, then there is too much material, hence the bunching up.
All I can say is that these ps need to get it together about these after surgery garments. It is not a one size fits all thing. Every woman is different. When a woman spends several thousand dollars for an elective surgery, then she wants to be comfortable in her recovery, not tugging and pulling on something between her legs. Trust me, if the surgeons had to wear these garments for any amount of time, they would soon be all custom fit for the patients!
Then, we would use them and not have to write in wondering if/when we can remove it; and they would not be frustrated with patients who were being non-compliant with the garment......I read this forum all the time, and this is a continual problem for patients.
I am glad that you are smart enough to keep up with your pain meds and muscle relaxers. Also, just fyi: Do not let yourself get constipated. Straining could cause your incision to separate. Take a stool softner if your doctor did not give you one. Some of them wait until you ask for one, and by then, you are already in trouble....Save yourself the agony and be proactive. Get up and walk a couple times a day also.
Your BA looks good. I think you are going to be pleased once you heal up. Hang in there!
XOXO

Correction: Your breast lift looks good. I don't think you mentioned an Augmentation. What a coincidence, I also had a VSG. Lost about 100 lbs. !! Congratulations on your weight loss also !! You're a new woman !!
