I just had Lasik so am not really wearing eye makeup. Appt to get brows and hair done next week. Lipstick tho! can't live without that! Anyway, face is all settling in and puffiness gone. Scars barely noticeable. Hoping these endotines in my scalp dissolve? They are sensitive. Very happy with results, don't look so crabby. However, I have never been photogenic so if I don't smile it's a disaster.

3 months later today!
Well, I love my results. The numbness is now completely gone on my scalp and shoot is has been itching like crazy for about 3 weeks. I'm thinking that the more that I scratch the worse that I will make it. My hair is totally growing back in now and no more bald spots showing. That added insult to injury! So happy with the results, just can't wait for the itching to be gone... Any experience with this?

Nice to hear your scalp numbness is gone. You're about 5 weeks ahead of me in this process, so I always enjoying thinking I might be where you are shortly. Like you, I've been getting a lot of itchiness up there. Maybe it's just part of getting 'back to normal.' Many thanks for the update. Glad to hear everyone at the BBQ loved your look. What did your daughters and grandsons say?

Well let's see. My kids think I look great, 10 years younger (my oldest said 15), however, now I am getting used to it..swelling is pretty much gone and I think that I just look a lot fresher. Not pulled or anything like that. I really love it and will try to get my husband to take some photos for me to post. I'll tell you the best part is that my hair has grown like crazy back in the bald areas on both sides of my head. (THAT was scary) It's only about 2 inches long, but there aren't obvious real thinned hair there anymore. Biotin and Zinc do the trick for better hair growth.

On Tuesday it will be 6 weeks from surgery
I am back to "real life", my upper head is still quite numb (and itchy!!!), my hair quit falling out after 3 weeks, BIG relief. I haven't colored my hair yet, but I am looking forward to that. I am super happy with the results. I went to a BBQ last weekend with people who have known me for over 10 years and all I got was "You look great!". I am going down to see my daughters on Monday and grandsons and I know they are going to say Wow.
My swelling is going away around my lower cheeks. The area where the endotines are in my upper forehead are quite tender, but I see lots of new hairs growing in there and I know that all the nerve endings are knitting back together, thus all the itchiness!!

I am very hair challenged right now, and really hoping that it will be back to normal one of these months. It will take time. I will keep posts on that as that is something that I couldn't find much info about. My hair is so thin now that I feel better with a scarf or bandanna on.

Mlouise, I wanted to let you know on the hair loss I understand your fear. Last Summer I was put on a new med and it caused my hair to fall out in massive amounts, so bad I didn't want to wash it! I started taking 5000 of Biotin a day and within a week the huge losses stopped, and today 1 year later my hair looks better than ever. You look amazing!

Thank you for your comment! I am now taking Biotin and I think that I can see little hairs replacing the ones that either got confused or something! Yes, very scary. My face looked good, but now my hair looked awful. It will all take time and patience. It's for sure not an instant gratification thing!

Today I bought Biotin and started taking them this evening. I will take 2000 in morning and 2000 in evening. I hope that helps with the hair I lost.

I was taking Biotin before my surgery, but surgeon wanted me off all supplements for two weeks before surgery. I am going to start taking it again as I have had good results with it in the past. I seem to go through periods of hair loss being greater at times since menopause, so I started taking Biotin. It does help.

This is all so inspiring, mlouise! Seeing your pictures and the wonderful progress you've made has given me hope. Nice to know your hair is coming back in, too. I know that'd been a big worry of mine. My brow lift didn't affect the feeling in my forehead, but the top of my head is completely numb. Ugh. Good to hear that that might go away soon. Many thanks!
