9...almost 10 weeks post op!

I cannot believe I am almost 10 weeks post op. I am feeling great. I am working out just about as hard as I was prior to my surgery, minus doing push ups! It just doesn't feel "right" at the moment, so no need to push on that. I had a minor hiccup in healing a few weeks ago. I went to change my silicone tape, and realized I had two small holes in my incision lines! Turns out I had spitting stitches. I was pretty bummed, but they have healed okay. The scarring on those two areas are a little more red and obvious but hopefully that fades over time. I have heard that if you spit stitches once you are more likely to do it again, but I am hoping this is the only time! Now I am just using silicone tape and a scar treatment gel from my PS office. The tape I bought on Amazon. I really like it. I tried the silicone sheets but felt that they fell off easily. This tape stays better, but is easy to peel off and doesn't hurt! It says it is reusable as well, but I put new strips on each day after I work out. I feel like I have "dropped and fluffed" well and am hoping there isn't a ton more dropping. I really enjoy the position they are at!! I do still notice a slight difference in size; my right being bigger than the left. But I think I'm really the only one noticing...because I'm constantly staring at them!! Haha! Overall I am so happy with my results, and I can't thank Dr. McCormack and her staff enough for giving me the most beautiful boobies!

How did you feel about having to take your pericings out? And did you have to get them re-peirced? I have mine done and looking to get surgery but the thought of having to get re-peirced even take them out doesn't sit well with me

The weeks are really just flying by now, and I am feeling great! I have my one month post op appointment tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to hearing what my doctor has to say about my progress. I feel like my scars will heal well (at least I hope!) and my boobs are definitely softening up. I'm hoping that my PS will clear me for all exercising too tomorrow. I miss my workouts so much!! Hear are some updated pictures.

Hi there!! I was actually only seen by the nurse, but she said it all looks great!! I grabbed some silicone based scar treatment stuff at the office. I had my tape off for a day and I felt like the scars got red and bigger. So I panicked and put the tape back on. I've been reading back and forth opinions on whether to just continue using paper tape or to move to silicone sheeting. I think one of the biggest things is just putting pressure on the scars and keeping them flat. But all I know is what I find on the internet!! Haha. Yes I was cleared to go back to working out. So happy. I'm gonna start slow but I'm so glad I get to do it again!! And yes I am so surprised by how natural they feel! Falling in love with them more by the day. Thank you for all your kind words!! Happy healing to you too!!

Hey. I wanted to say I agree with you 100% about the paper vs silicone sheeting. I LOVE my silicone....BUT,,,it all comes down to the pressure on the scars to keep them flat. I think maybe tape is just as good. I kept steristrips on my incisions for 6 weeks...then I went to silicone. I think if I had used tape,,,I still would have good results. Anyways...glad you are cleared to work out. Take it easy. And yes,,,you will fall more, and more in love with your breasts as time passes. I know. LOL!!! Take care!! Talk soon. :)

All the information out there makes it so hard to decide what course of action to take! Yes I am so glad I get to workout again. I gained back a little weight during these last few weeks so I'm looking forward to getting back into it! And thank you so much as always for all your encouragement, help and kind words! You are awesome.

Say whattttt?!? One month post op?! Can't believe it has already been that long. My boobs are definitely starting to feel softer, and more like they belong to me! There are small things here and there that I feel like I notice like size difference and stuff, but I don't think it's as bad as it used to be. I really do love my boobs :) was having a little boob greed recently, wondering if I should've gone bigger, but I feel like these are perfect and proportional to the rest of my body! Got sized for fun the other day, and I'm a 36 D. Hoping to maybe make it to DD once I truly drop and fluff but we will see! Overall my experience has been really positive. I would do it all over again! My advice to anyone thinking about getting a lift and implants...do it. Find a surgeon you trust and do it! I definitely don't regret it.
