39 Years Old/rhinoplasty Dr Dahan. Reno, NV

So disappointed, hopes were for a smaller nose that didn't stick out like a beak, to be closer and flatter against my face and not upturned anymore. Here goes. Dr Dahan's bedside manner is great, he does a great job building rapport. I genuinely had a great feeling about him. Not sure how much he actually listens or cares verses acting like he does though, now that I've been through what I've been through. I spent $8200 on a nose job that I was SO excited about. Things went great but the result was not much of a change. It's better, for sure, anything would be better. But it's still upturned and just way too much nose at the end. It's still big, and it looks funny in pictures too. The worst part is that everyone at work and home feels the same- their disappointment showed. :-( Some asked if I was still planning on getting the nose even after I got it! For so much money I'm ultra bummed out. 1 year post exam Dr. says he can revise it to lay flatter instead of upturned and make it smaller (and smooth out some bumps you can feel). He says since it's a revision of his own work he will charge a small fee (not sure what "small" means to them since I already used my 401k for my "life changing" first surgery!) I also need my ears pinned back so he says he can do it all at once and the lady would call me on Monday with a quote (wouldn't tell me why the small fee for the revision is so it could have in fact been a larger few than I could have paid for). Well that was August. I called THEM FIVE TIMES over 2 months and was told each time she would call me back. She did once and said Dr. Dahan still hadn't given her the info. It's thanksgiving time now and no call. I really really really hoped things would work out OK before I created this review! Also had a friend from work who I referred to him for some reason but after her consult with the assistant in September she couldn't get anyone to call her back either! So she went to Dr. McCormack and got a very BRAUTIFUL result for three thousand LESS than what I paid (yes she had the septum done too!!! And it's still swollen and still looks amazing). I'm envious but so happy for her. Because I don't have the money to pay for another entire nose job I'm pretty much stuck with what I have. Definitely didn't make the right choice.
