I regret the Morpheus8
I am 30 years old and don’t consider my skin all that great but do receive compliments on my skin. I have a small very light patch of melasma on the front of my left cheek, I am half Filipino half irish with a few flat spots that look like freckles that have surfaced on my face over the last two years, some doctors say it’s melasma some say it’s dpn but no one knows how to treat it. Problem areas are really just the front of my cheeks with pores and the melasma and freckle like spots. Over the years I’ve done a series of microdermabrasion, 6-7 clear and brilliant permea as well as 2 clear and brilliant regular treatments, microneedling with prp, a few rounds of pico and two rounds of perfecta. None of these helped much but none had the downtime of Morpheus8 I’m now on day 8 with raised bumps and grid marks and discoloration still present on my cheeks further back near my ears. I was told I was treated on a very light setting. So why all the downtime? And the rest of my face is healed with no improvement. At this rate idk when or if my cheeks will heal but the anxiety of the unknown is grating on me. I regret this overpriced treatment that destroyed parts of my face that were perfectly fine and did nothing for the problem areas that I wanted to treat in the first place. Do yourself a favor and don’t do the Morpheus8

Hey girl! Any update since you last got it done? I'm also half Filipina half German and just got my first treatment! I'm a little nervous because I'm super swollen and red and they recommend a whitening cream. How's your results?
Did your problem resolved? If it did .. how
I also had Morpheus done. The first two treatments went well other than being painful and the results were great! But I had my third treatment 2 months ago and now have raised, red grid marks. The doc has given me antibiotics and cortisone cream. It's barely made a difference. I'm really frustrated and not sure what I need to do to make this go away! :(
I'm so sorry that this happened to you! This has also happened to me. I am 5 weeks out since my treatment and still have bumps all over the treated area. Did your doctor explain what these bumps are?! I'm worried mine are scars :(
@arosevi_ did you ever figure out what the bumps were from? Did they ever resolve?
Following having the same problem
I am also having the same problem and 6 weeks from my first treatment
Hi I'm 4 days post morph8 and experiencing grid marks and a lot of texture. Sagging in the neck which at this point I care more about all the raised squares and dots within them all over my neck and on forehead and here and there on my face. Have you had any resolution with this going away and when did it?
Did this ever resolved ? If it did … how?
My Doctor has been doing injections, peels and microneedling for over 2 years now for free. It’s helped greatly but I still have scarring.
I would also like to know if the bumps etc ever resolved? My dr. Is recommending me Morpheus8 but I am mixed race with dark acne scarring already that has taken ages to lighten up, I'm really scared this will put me back to square 1 with pigmentation and spots.
Other than the grid marks (which I think will get better for you), do you think the morpheus8 improved anything at all?
