Getting Ready for My Neck lift

I am a little more than a week out from surgery and I am so excited to see all of my progress. The stitches came out this week and I was really nervous about the appointment but the staff was right - it didn’t hurt.
My lower eyes are still healing and still red from the laser but you can easily cover it up with make-up. I have one bruise on the lower part of my neck but it will be gone soon. 
I am still surprised about how little pain I have had during the process. The only part that is a little annoying or weird is the numbness and feeling the incision behind my ear. It is all part of the healing process. 
I go back in a few weeks for follow-up and they will take my initial after photos. I will add those photos once I get them.
I am finally able to wear makeup - here are some pictures that I took today!

Today was a great day! The drain is out. I am still wearing the wrap and still on light duty. Overall I feel I look great! I am still wearing the wrap and icing. My next appointment is Monday for suture removal and they told me today that we will also do make-up. I might even venture out for Lunch.

So far so good and I am thrilled that I can already see results. Surprisingly I was able to stop the pain medications at my 24hr appointment and have been able to manage the pain with just Advil.

My drain comes out tomorrow. Everyone said that was going to be the worst but it really hasn’t been that bad.
