Just turned 57 and while I work out and am in pretty good shape, age and gravity have made me very conscious of my bat wings and sagging butt. I AM DONE! Getting both taken care of Dec 4th! Photos to come!

Thank you… Not nearly as painful or debilitating as I thought it would be. Will post before and current next week.

So 15 years ago I had butt implants. I was a pioneer...first butt implant patient for Dr. Huntley! Changed my life. I had always been thin but had a FLAT rear. Hated it and very self conscious. So...did it and never looked back. Recovery was tough but worth it.
Fast forward 15 years. Gravity and aging propelled me to schedule a butt lift. Still very happy with the shape and size of my implants but sagging was driving me nuts! Just had operation and what a terribly upsetting outcome!
Unbeknownst to me or Dr. Huntley, my implants had ruptured. No indication, no pain, nothing but a small protrusion that would occasionally resurface on my right cheek. I would simply push or rotate it and it would go back to normal.
So Dr. Huntley had to remove my implants. They looked like chopped up silicone. I awoke to this news. HORRIFIED. My rear is flatter than it was to start with. AWFUL. There was no way he or I would have known unless we did a cat scan/mri or something but there was no reason to do so since I was having no real symptoms. (Maybe we should have because of their age?)
So...I am going into hiding until I can get new implants. Just like most things, you never really appreciate something until it’s gone. NOW I really know how much those implants changed my life and can’t wait to have them back! Stay tuned.

So how did the bat wing removal part go?

It has been amazingly much easier than I expected. Dr Huntleys did liposuction which I was not expecting because I didn’t really have fat arms just loose skin. But I am now on the end of the fourth day after surgery and there is barely any pain and things seem to be healing beautifully. I have not had any issues showering which I’ve done twice and washing my hair or changing shirts. I am rotating between compression sleeves the doctor provided, a long sleeve workout shirt that provides compression and ace bandages. Going back to the doctor in three days and will post before and current photos then.

Sorry for crappy quality - don't have original photos. These were taken right before my surgery. My arms weren't terrible as I work out but no work out can remove loose flabby extra skin. Will add scar photos shortly but overall recovery has been much easier than expected.
