In 2009 I had a radical hysterectomy and my body started accentuating the not so positive :(.
Skin (fat) has been growing on my tummy and hip flank area. It was one of those things that I just could not "work off". I was able to desquise it with clothing but I was starting to become self conscious with my husband and almost ashamed that I even cared. As a modern women I should look past it..well..not s much. haha
After about 5 years of consideration and various workouts I decided to go for it in August 2015. Let me just say, the results at three weeks are amazing. It was exactly what I was looking for, nothing too dramatic just smooth sides and back area.
My expectations were low..haha...simply wanted to "shave" a little off while secretly being worried I would look out of proportion. Happy with my waist/hips curve and my thighs so would the work (lipo) make me look 'odd' or fake? Happy to report.. NOPE!! I simply look smoother. The results are better than imagined. There are a few 'dot' scars from the stitches but they will diminish. I am looking after myself to maximize healing, The binder is/was annoying but it really is worth it. I do recommend Lymphatic Massage it feels dreamy and really assists with swelling.
Good Luck and if your on the fence...once you meet the right surgeon you will feel comfortable jumping!
