33 Y/o Mom of 2 ---- (5'2", 105lbs, Inspira SRF 335cc Silicone Unders)

I have always had small breasts but after nursing 2 kids they became deflated. I started at a 34A and my goal was a full C cup. After 3 consultations, I ended up choosing Dr. Brian Reedy in Wyomissing, PA. I am currently 3 months post op and loving my results. The hardest part was slowly watching the healing process. The pain was gone after about 4-5 days but waiting for the implants to drop and take shape took a good 6 weeks. Everything looked great with clothes on almost immediately but I had square boobs, high boobs, lopsided boobs, uneven boobs and finally my dream boobs. I also was a little paranoid that everything I did might affect the final outcome (ie: arm movements at work, lifting my kids, sleep positions). I had looked at a lot of personal reviews on RealSelf so I was aware of all the little phases and complications that occur as your body heals and accepts the implants but it's hard to know if you will end up happy or regretful. I am one of the lucky ones and I truly believe that picking the right surgeon is the most important decision you have to make. Go with your gut feeling and don't let price determine who you end up with. You get what you pay for.

3 month Post Op visit...

Hi there, just got back from my 3 month post op visit. I had questions about one scar healing better than the other and bottoming out. He said that its normal for one breast to heal more slowly than the other. As long as the scar isn't raised and doesn't have an abnormal texture, it will all heal fine over time. One side is slightly darker pigmented and he said that it will heal beautifully over the next 6 months to a year. I've been doing silicone gel sheets randomly and massaging when I remember to (not too often). Vitamin E was recommended at my previous visit but I've barely taken any. I did not tell him this stuff lol.

I am very happy with where my implants are sitting Right Now. My concern was that if they traveled any further south, I would appear to be bottoming out. He said my capsule was very thin, like tissue paper. So my implant will never really be secure. The positive is that my breasts will look and feel very natural. The negative is that without constant support of a bra, they will go lower. Because my chest was so flat to begin with. I had no natural "shelf". He had to surgically create one. People with a natural shelf have their own anchor for the implant to keep it in place. Mine will have to be created by 24/7 underwire bra wearing for another year. He also said to stay away from all chest exercises because they will cause the implant to move toward the armpits. Luckily I don't exercise at all. My husband is already annoyed that I wear a bra to sleep. I thought I'd be done with it after this visit, but nope.

Just an update... In terms of bra sizing. I went to Nordstrom originally and got sized as 30DDD. They were completely wrong. I feel 34C fits and looks best. I can also go 32D in some brands but 34C gives me the most cleavage. At this point I am very happy with my size choice since I started out flat chested. Down the road... Hopefully 8-12 years from now, after my skin has stretched and I might need a replacement, I would consider a larger implant size to detract from my aging face haha. I'll post pics soon.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Reedy and his staff. The office and surgery center were pristine and high tech. It appears that they keep up with the latest technology and are very knowledgable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I am highly satisfied with my breast augmentation. Dr. Reedy seemed to understand what my goal was and gave me exactly what I wanted.
