I first started researching BA in 2013. I had a few friends who had it done and I knew it would boost my self confidence through the roof. My only problem was funds. I am not the person who can dump a huge sum on a credit card or apply for care credit. I prefer to pay outright. I think fate stepped in last fall though when I was thrust into a situation I could turn into a positive. Since then, I have researched, researched and researched. I read about implants, docs and procedures. I poured over B & A photos. I then put it aside, thinking if it's just an itch, it will stop. Well, the itch grew to a freakin rash. And I knew this was what I wanted.
So I found Dr. Reedy on here and decided to have a consult. Trying the sizes and not wanting to take them off did it for me. I just booked my surgery yesterday along with my pre op and the time can't go fast enough!
I am looking for a solid C but my concerns right now lie with what a lot of the women on here have said: are they going to be big enough? How will I recover?
I am choosing a Natrelle Silicone under the muscle. I forget the CCs right now, but I want to say 400. I know they won't be as bias the sizers, but how much smaller will they go?
As for recovery... I have Irritable Bowel so I am already dealing with tummy issues. My past experience with anasthesia has made me constipated so I would really appreciate any advice I can get here. I know what I'm in for, but how should I handle this?
Otherwise, I am super excited. My very Christian mom does not know what I intend to do because she won't approve. My sisters and bro will tell my mom. My dad is nuetral about it. So my support system is just my fiancé who calls himself the "incidental beneficiary" of this. He will be great, though. I am curious, though, about how to tell my daughter. She's 10. Any advice?
I will post pictures soon.

I hope all is well... I'm due for surgery the 16th of this month. I'm 57 115lbs I'm a small A cup sad yes I know. I'm getting 400cc silicone under.
From your pics you have posted our chest is about the same. So I think you will look good with the 400cc. As for as your support all you need is your husband and daughter. Just sit down and tell she'll under stand. Oh. Yeah my mom isn't thrilled about me getting my BA. But my dad siblings are all on board with it. I wish you the best of luck with it all..

Congrats on your decision !
I have my BA next week and haven't told my mom and not sure what to tell my 6 years old daughter since i always walk around the house half naked . I decided that I will focus on the surgery first and deal with "who to tell" after ... My 2 cents !
Good luck with everything

My fiancé works in sales and won a cruise from one of the incentive programs. We didn't know when or where the cruise was. We just found out today it's to the Bahamas and leaves Feb 20. That 15 days after my BA. I have no idea how to handle this! I know the general post op pain and issues should be gone. I expect swelling and perhaps some bruising. How do I dress for this??? Loose flowing sundresses??? And what do I do about bras?? Bikinis??? Help!!

I'm taking a huge risk saying this, but is there any way to do get your surgery after the cruise? I mean it's doable for sure, but I'm just thinking of all the fun activities that you might not be comfortable doing.... ;)

I thought about it briefly. The cruise is just a 3 day getaway so excursions and such are limited. I also teach high school seniors so I ideally want sweater weather and scarves to cover the change and this is the only time I can do it. Also, warmer weather (summer) is out because that rules out the harley I love riding so much. I don't think I have much choice.

Ah, yes, your surgery timing makes sense! As a parent of two high schoolers, I can appreciate you wanting sweater weather during your recovery. ;) I'm sure you'll be fine on you trip and like you said, it's a quick getaway!
I'm so glad you started your pre op review! It's good to hear that you attempted to put this idea on the back burner to make sure you were really confident with your idea of getting breast augmentation. You pose some very good questions so be sure to comment on other members reviews that you like so they can easily find you and provide you with feedback. Yes, constipation is a side effect from the pain medication so it's important to know what products works well for you. ;) Here is a forum of members also awaiting their February 2015 breast aug surgery. Feel free to join in the conversation and perhaps even find some surgery buddies! Keep us posted!
