I am finally getting the breasts I always wanted....
WORTH IT$5,975
I am finally getting the breasts I always wanted. Hoping to go from size 34B to D, yet to be approved by Dr. For the exact cc. My breasts are different sizes so I am going with saline to fix that, and I have enough breast tissue that there should be no rippling or any of the issues that can come with saline vs silicone. Ahhhh!! Super excited and nervous!

Week after BA , 500cc in R, 465cc in L
The day of I was pretty nervous, my fiance drove me to Berks Plastic Surgery. My surgery was at 1, but I was so flipping hungry I drank about 1/4 clear liquid. I had 3 people talk to me before the surgery, a woman who asked me more medical questions to double check everything, and had me change imto rone and slippers. Then the anesthesiologist came in, and told me what he would be doing in detail ( i hate needles so yuck). Lastly Dr. Reedy came in and confirmed everything again, and was reassuring. Last I saw him I was trying to decide between getting 500cc in left and 540 in right OR 500 cc in right and 465 in left (my breasts are slightly diff sizes). I decided on the smaller of the 2 options because they looked more natural. The staff was really nice and made me feel better, especially when I was getting on the operating table. I woke up after surgery, and vaguely remember being put in my car and fiance driving home. My 2nd day i puked because i tried walking to bathroom, and all my meds made me nauseous. I think I was a little over confident as to how quickly I would recover. I figured a week and I would be moving around like normal. It's Sunday, had surgery on Tuesday. Pec muscles still sore, get tired easily, need lots of naps, get out of breath easy. Walked my dog today but had to stop and rest. Been doing my arm stretches, but sometimes forget. My implants are still really high, i know it takes awhile for them to "drop".
My arms seem to go numb and hurt down to my hands when i lie still, i think my implants are pressing on a nerve or something but I imagine that will go away with time. Called the office and they said that's normal.

Yeah it does take awhile to drop. I'm post op 4 days and cannot wait for month 2 already. I am happy I'm no longer in any pain though (: i haven't been outside since my revision! I go to my first check Tuesday though. I hate not being able to lay on my side ughhh at night my body craves it, but i can't cause it hurts! Do you wake up stiff too? I wake up every morning stiff with a back ache. No fun!

yup, it gets less and less stiff though. I have "morning boob" every morning, i hate that feeling. I was finally able to lay on my side today for a bit, it felt odd but not painful. I am still sleeping propped up so I don't roll over in my sleep. I'm looking forward to getting back to work, definetly bored!!

On the Mend, Mystery Pains
Starting to be able to do more, thenfirst week and a half I had a lot of trouble showering and clothing myself. thank god for my fiancé! Today I drove for the first time, I do not have power steering so it can be hard on my arms/pecs/shoulders. I keep having weird sensations on my left side, like underneath the armpit area and back to my shoulder blade. It's sore to the touch but doesn't hurt on it's own. Almost like a pulled muscle but not? I have to call about this. In my first week I had nerve entrapment , probably just from muscles and implant interacting, and it caused pain down whole arm down to hand. I am a massage therapiat and I believe this was similar to a C6 nerve entrapment. Now that the implant has moved down some I wonder if the pain on the side is just part of that. My left implant is dropping faster than my right, probably because my right pec is more tight from being used more, i am right handed. So so so looking forward to seeing what these bad boys look like in a month, 2 months, 6 months , etc!!

Mystery Solved, I pulled a muscle, probably doing something I wasn't supposed to, like lifting over 10 lbs! Feels like maybe my serratus anterior...
Glad your doctor can address any asymmetry with your surgery. Feel free to join a forum of members also awaiting their May 2015 breast augmentation surgery. Keep us posted!
