I've been quiet here since my 3 month post-op visit, because I have felt like I need to process my situation before coming here and talking about it.
Basically, my right breast is okay if it stays where it is, but my left breast keeps dropping. My plastic surgeon wants to see me sooner than a year, so we can see what's what at that time and discuss the best way to handle it. I wish I had gone with my pre-surgery gut, which was hesitant about my poor skin tone which was made even worse by many stretch marks, and asked him to put in a sling under each implant. My animation deformity is also so bad that I can wiggle my breasts up and down. Basically, my muscle tissue is stronger than the surrounding tissue, so every time I use my chest muscles, they're pushing my breast implants downward and outward.
So...I am not working out my chest muscles specifically, I avoid using my chest muscles when my husband sees me naked, and other than that, it's just...continuing to follow the surgeon's instructions and waiting it out.

Thank you so much! My doctor said the right could come down a bit, but he doesn't want the left dropping any further. It has, though, in the month since then. I stopped massaging that left one after the first 3 weeks, because it dropped so quickly. My husband is happy, and other than mentioning to him one time that it's still dropping, I'm not drawing his attention to it! I totally agree that it does look more natural this way!

Thank you so much for your honest review. I'm sorry you are not totally happy, but you sound super body critical. I think you look simply fantastic. You have a figure to die for and clearly work hard on it while also looking after kids. How clever were your boobies looking after them all when they needed it. Love what you have, love the little extra helping boobie-hand you have given yourself and remember you are beautiful. I can also move my boobs and can see implants when I flex. How cool is that!! I bet your husband can't move his pecs as well, I know my BF can't ;)

Thank you for your encouraging comment! You are right, I am hypercritical of myself and need to calm down with that. :)

There’s something about having surgery that alters your body that makes us all a bit hyper critical, even when our results are really good. I really didn’t expect that from myself, and then I was completely obsessed for months! It settled down for me around month 7 post op. I’ve seen some really nice ladies with poor results here and my heart aches so badly for them. I can’t even imagine the distress they are going through!
You look gorgeous, by the way... chin and [RS bleep] up!!! ;-)

We must all be a bit above average concern levels to put ourselves through it in the 1st place!! But I have considered my boobs more times in the last year than probably the last 15yrs...we are all beautiful. I have found this site so useful for looking at maked bodies, as you cant normally. Makes you realise how very unique we are :) x

Thank you both! I'm surprised at how picky I'm being, too, when I look at my "before" photos! Lol!

How are you doing this month? It can be difficult to process the range of feelings that come along with this surgery. You look beautiful :)

How are you feeling now? Personally I think your boobs look brilliant. They look natural and full. They're not perfectly symmetrical, but then, that's often the case. They do look lush. I'm late 40s too and am also starting off with deflated breasts (breastfed 6 kids for around 2 years each, but weight loss seems to have finished off what the kids started!). I'll be thrilled if I end up with boobs like yours.

I've been experiencing hormonal breakouts on my chest and back, so I don't want to post nude shots this time, but I had time to post an update this morning, so here goes. After 25 plus years of marriage, this has been the best decision we've made to boost intimacy. I am only as sexy as I am confident, and there really are no words for the difference it makes when I feel desirable instead of ugly. If you think ugly is too strong a word, go back and look at the first photos I put up. My breasts didn't bounce back from pregnancy and breastfeeding my large brood of kids (I started out a B cup, typically went to a D or C during breastfeeding, and ended up some horrible A size saggy baggies that were unable to be correctly fitted in any bra that has ever been made. The little pouches of flabby breast tissue would get caught under the underwire of the padded bras I wore to make my clothing look and fit better. My surgeon told me I had about the same amount of breast tissue to work with as a mastectomy patient. Because I have a wider bone structure through my shoulders, and my "breast pockets" were far apart, I have never had cleavage and still don't unless I lie on my side with my arm under the lower breast, but I do have side boob, which I personally find highly erotic. Cleavage would complicate my preference for V neck shirts, since I am publicly pretty modest and have told very few people about my surgery. It doesn't take much effort to look similar to how I looked wearing a padded bra, and that's exactly what I wanted. :)
Physically, at 2 plus months post-surgery...my breasts get achy if I go more than an hour or so with no support. My right nipple and lower breast are still mostly numb. My scars are healing nicely and only look red for a day after we've been super vigorous with our sexual activity. My right breast is still higher and tighter than my left, I'm guessing mostly due to being right-hand dominant. I've been doing cardio almost every day for over a month. Not doing any weight training, but my lifestyle is somewhat physically rigorous, and I think that has contributed to the animation deformity I experience when tightening my pec muscles. I stay mindful of this during sex, which would be a pain except that it's more than made up for by the other perks of being shapely! I'm guessing that I'm going to end up a 32DD. :)
I hope all my December surgery buddies are doing well, and that you're as ecstatic with your results as I am with mine!

You look beautiful! Very sexy in the see through top. I’m also so happy I did the surgery which I should have done years ago!

Gorgeous pics - so sexy! Sorry bout the rash. Hope that passes quickly. Keep that great new confidence and rock it!

It makes such a difference in the bedroom to feel sexy from within--irrespective of how much our husbands tell us they find us desirable, which is also important and valuable, it's nice to be able to believe them. ;) Looking great in those tops!

Everything is going super well here! I'm so happy to have curves again, happy with how I look and feel, happy to have my "intimacy confidence" back!
I haven't had any real issues. Some drying and flaking skin on my nipples that others have spoken of. I'm guessing it's partly due to the increased activity? I put ointment on them so they look better. My right still looks a tad higher than my left. Since I went sub-muscular, my boobs look contorted and weird when I tighten my chest muscles, so I make sure not to do that during lovemaking. Lol!
I'm at the gym almost every day and look forward to having restrictions lifted, hopefully at the 3 month mark!

Also just wanted to leave a bit of advise! Be careful working out! Do not do isolated chest exercises. Since your implants are under the muscle doing isolated chest exercises increases your risks of developing “Flex Animation” this is a condition where the muscles distort the implants when flexed or engaged . It can get worse with continual or prolonged chest exercises. My PS suggested waiting a FULL year before doing ANY isolated chest exercises . I am very happy to say listening paid off! I did not develop any flex animation or distortion .

You look great! I’m so happy for you that you have such renewed confidence; what a blessing!

I hope your doctor can make some suggestions so you canbe delighted with final result. Good luck!
