I had lipodissolve done on my thighs in 2007. I have no problem with the doctor or staff. I had the normal redness and swelling that most people experience. About a year or so later I have had a tumour grow in my uterus the size of a baby I had to have a full hysterectomy. I then got a large tumour on my lower back on the spine it to was removed with a danger of paralysing me but I pulled through. Then in 2014 I was told I had a tumour on my brain yet to be removed. All tumours started to grow after my lipodissolve treatment, all tumours are benign and are like fatty growths. My brain tumour is in the worst place possible a tumour could grow according to my neurologist, to operate would cause me paralysis but to leave it there if it grows more will also cause paralysis. It is now 2017, ten years later that I write this. Not enough is known about the long term effects of this treatment and it's not worth it, though it may appeal to our vanity short term it's the long term effects that I'm concerned and writing about.

After having lipodissolve injected in my knees in 2008, I began experiencing symptoms from skin dying around the injections to hallucinating, to chronic fatigue, brain fog and muscle pain. At the time, I had no idea that it had not been FDA approved, or that a DR would ever use a product so unsafe. Dr Thomas Young, of "Young Medical Spa" in Center Valley PA never acknowledged the relationship between my symptoms and his injections, even when he saw the skin had died where he had injected me. I am so sorry for your hardships following your injections, thank God the tumors have been benign, but what trauma to your body! I have not reached out in any way about my experience, but your post inspired me. I found an FDA online voluntary reporting form to report the adverse effects of Lipodissolve- our experiences documented might help. Thank you for sharing your story and if you have any updates, look forward to knowing how you are doing
