So 3 weeks ago I went to get restylane filters under my eyes for dark circles and little wrinkles. I immediately had horrible results. I had horrible swelling, and a lump under my left eye. My doctor told me to come in a week later. He gave me hyaluronidase which helped a little. He performed this 3 times which still has not help. Why isn't it working? He want me to come back. I'm scared this will never go away.

He is a great doctor. Very sweet and patient. I just believe he does not have the experience (maybe) for this procedure.

I am going through something very similar just with Juvederm. Just had my 5th hyaluronidase injection. Its just slow but better. Very frustrating. For me I had puffiness and tyndall so now the puffiness is gone, the tyndall is still there. Is it getting any better for you?

It is not getting any better sad to say. I'm glad to hear your getting better. How long did it take you to see results?

Very sorry to hear that. If it's not getting any better at all, I would go elsewhere. Hyaluronidase has to be injected just in the right spot and a certain amount to get rid of it. Also seeing both in real life and on her, surgeons don't seem to know nearly enough about this subject. I swell badly and get red after each injection so it's difficult to access for a couple days but I usually know by about day 3 to 4. A lot of people get immediate results but I'm not one of them. Filler also lasts an unusually long time so my theory is that it takes more to get rid of fillers for me than others. Idk if you've had other fillers but perhaps you're the same?

I did have fillers in the past. Once before and they came out amazing. I made the mistake of not going back to the same doctor to save money. I'm so mad at my self. I just hope this can be fixed. I've never had bags before and now that's all I have. I'm so upset.

150 units of hyaluronidase should dissolve 1 syringe of Restylane completely. How many units have you had done? Is that half moon above the shadow part of your natural tissue or is that the restylane. it will look less swollen in 30 days. the problem with under eye filler is that your under eyes swell naturally every morning. Restylane lasts over 2 years in this region.

That's all restylane. I have no idea hoe much he had put in so far. I think he said 1cc to 1.2cc

Hey jfknight I got the same problem but with Restyalne and 1 round of hyaluronidase. It's now been 2.5 years and I still have tyndall and puffiness. Did you ever get back to normal??

Sorry for not responding sooner. Mine is much better but not fully. It's been 21 months since juvederm and about 18 since my last hyaluronidaise. After the 5th injection it looked indented and lumpy so I had restylane to cover this. I still had juvederm underneath but my injector advised against more hyaluronidaise. So I still have had to wait for the juvederm to go away. Slowly I see the changes with the puffiness and tyndall going away. At home dermarolling with a .5 roller every 2 to 3 weeka seems to have also helped. Still I'm resigned to the belief it will never look exactly the same. I just don't think it's noticeable to anyone else anymore and I recognize myself again finally. In your case I'd go for more hyaluronidaise since it's been this long. Just go to someone who has experience with this and won't tell you it's already absorbed because of the time. Filler can last years under the eyes.

I must say that is a little disheartening to hear. I must admit I am quite determined to get my skin back to the way it was, as my discolouration is extremely bothersome. It forms as a dark crease down my malar bags which was exactly what I wanted to hide with fillers. So it only exacerbates my biggest insecurity even more. I can't believe I could have such a poor outcome..

I've also done microneedling, it probably reduced my discolouration by 80%, but I've seen very diminishing results and almost no improvement in the past months.. It's frustrating.

I had one round of hyaluronidase 2 weeks ago, and I'm going back in a few days. I thought I saw an improvement immediately after the first shot but in the following days the redness cleared up a little and it didn't really look any different.

I'm going to a doctor who is a specialist in filler complications so I'm hoping he won't mess my face up like the first doctor did.

Have you considered trying anything else? I'm considering trying RF-microneedling, as I've read an anecdotal report of this working, and I also feel like it should as microneedling has. RF-microneedling is just more effective than microneedling alone.

But I have my malar bag problem on top of everything, which may be exacerbated by any heat or irritation, so I'm terrified of doing something that makes them worse.

Also considering trying a couple of picosure sessions.

Hey jfknight, I had another round 2 days ago, after the one before that didn't do anything either.. Now he injected directly into the discolouration that bothers me, and so far it just looks way worse. I'm terrified and hoping it'll get better again. Did you ever experience this? And did the doctor inject the enzyme directly into your tyndall?

At this point I don't believe I have tyndall, and that it's something else. Been to 5 doctors and not a single one can tell me what it is nor help me. Spent thousands on this mess and the only thing that has helped me has been a $3 dermastamp from eBay and my own hands and research.

Lost ALL faith in doctors.

i had juvederm removed with hyaluronidase. don't know why it didn't work for you. one thing i've learned is it takes a very skilled injector to do tear troughs.

Want to please share the injector?

dr. kelly collins. i also had a problem with her doing my hands.

The same has happened to me...had Bolotero injected in the tear troughs... 3 weeks later I have bags under my eyes. I had this done before by a skilled Dr and loved the results... but like you, to save money I went somewhere cheaper and am paying for it.., trying to dissolve the remaining filler
February 10, 2017
Did it get any better?
February 13, 2017
I had Rededsity 2 done on my tear trough, immediately puffy and lumpy. Two months later got hyaluronidase done for several time, the puffy eye bags are still there, I am worried that they are not going away. I have no problem hyaluronidase on other area or my last tear trough injection, they went flat immediately. It seems the filler went up to the eye bag tissue this time and has complications to hyaluronidase them! What should I do?
May 10, 2018
omg i'm afraid its the same with me... did it get better?? or is it still lingering.. does the filler go down naturally if its stuck to the eye bag tissues
August 5, 2018
ars2018 nope, mine has been there for 3 years. It doesn't dissolve naturally underneath the eyes as there is not enough hyaluronidase there naturally, and superficially there is none at all.

So only solution is more hyaluronidase injections untill it's all gone.

No it doesn’t . It stays there yea
