about a year I joined rs and started reading everyone stories. I am not a stranger to ps but never really thought about a FL and then the more I read and some other woman's pictures I knew I was going to have a FL .Further after visiting a few ps I knew I would need a fractional laser so I have started with the laser first. T the first step in the procedure ways to prepare my skin for 3 weeks hydroquinone and retina . my girlfriend and I arrived at the office an hour before to begin numbing our skin an hour before the procedure further half an hour before they started the laser I took a 1/2 half a pain pill ,to take the edge I was excited and a tiny bit nervous. Nurse started at the hair line holy crap that hurt but there was no turning back so I grabbed the side of table and said to my self suck it up. During the procedure I started to shake a little ,so I grabbed the side of the table a little tighter. further there was a male tech in the room to help karen . At one point he rubbed my hair and since I was kinda shaking a little I told him oh that feels good lol.So occasionally he would rub my arm and I would forgot the pain for a moment. Later in the procedure he pulled my ear "I said are you checking to see if I am still breathing " He laughed no I am just making sure we got right by ear too. To decrible what it felt . I guess it's like a rubber snapping many times over. It was over in about 45 miins . in addition , I did my neck that did not hurt at all. Secondly, I moved into another room where Debbie put cold compress on my face which felt wonderful that went on for about hour then I went home .

Your face is beautiful...before that is, lol.....I'm following you now so will be looking for your updates. I've had less ablative laser treatments and have always wondered about the fractional CO2. Happy healing!

better nights sleep
After the laser, I came home face was sore but not hot anymore I cleaned up around the house made dinner. Around 7pm I started to not feel well I believe the antibiotics were bothering my stomach.I laid down fell a sleep and slept for a few hours, I was up for a while then I took a benadryl and slept great. The next day I was up cleaning around the house with a very swollen face ,I applied auqaphor several times that day. That night I took a benadryl for the swelling and I was wide a wake until 3 am what a terrible night ( I was not in pain ) just mad because I couldn't sleep. At 8am I was up washed my face very gentle applied hydroctisore made by vi derm and sunscreen that was given to me from inspired spa. Then I took my 16 year old to get his drive license, I kept my head down as much as possible and figured I would see this people again anyways lol .Most importantly my son passed his driving test. No weird stares.Several times a day reapplied the hydrocortisone. Again I was not any pain. Thank full I slept well. Lastely, today I started to peel.

I had that done 3/2013. It was the most awful experience I've had. I had a very strong reaction & it took 2 weeks plus steroids to get over it. My skin was beautiful after 2 weeks, but it was pure hell!!!!

Yeah, isnt it funny with all the evidence, some people still think it is healthy to get a tan! Fake tans are ok, but never the real ones anymore. The damage does catch up to you as you get older...then you spend thousands just trying to undo the damage! How crazy is that! Lol...I'm glad you're doing good.
Thank you for your review and your pics! Will you update your pics as your results progress? Love to see the lead up and the final result! (you can post pics via our app too if you have an iphone - you can download it here)
What the hydroquinone and retina A do to prep your skin?
