Hey I'm 20 always had weak chin and i finally decided to go on with chin implant! I think the Sargent said large silicon implant..after reading all these reviews of people not being able to talk and deforming their faces I'm kinda scared and want to cancel. Hi Omar200, it's hard to tell from the pictures. Perhaps photos not from a lower angle might be better.

I think you'd benefit from a chin implant. Choose a trusted plastic surgeon you're comfortable with and be sure to discuss all aspects of your surgery with him, like type of implant, possible complications etc so you can make an informed decision. It's a big step, I know! All the best!

i had a good experience with my chin implant and submental lipo. it has been 3 months. i still have a tiny bit of numbness under one side of my chin. i def went through a period with a weird smile and somewhat slurred speech, but it's not obvious to everyone else. i wanted to do it for over 20 years. i only wish i had done it sooner. anyways, good luck to you!!

That's good to hear! And so off my pictures do you believe I need one ?
October 23, 2014
it's pretty subjective whether or not you "need" one, but i think it would help balance your face out really well. don't get too caught up in worrying about the complications. i mean i think it's important to read everything you can about the procedure/healing/etc so you can make an educated decision, but at some point you're going to have to put your trust in the surgeon if you want to do it. if for some reason you don't like it down the road you can always have it taken out. i say go for it ;)

Only you can decide if this is worth it to try or not. If you don't do it, will you always wonder? Looks wise, I think a chin implant would look great on you, but you have to decide if you want to try. Make sure you really like and trust your doctor (who I'm presuming is a board certified plastic surgeon). Please keep us posted on your decision!

You can't focus on the negative stories. They must not have researched their surgeons and they didn't agree about the same outcome. Of course any surgery is risky but most likely it will go great!

don't be too scared. i think for the vast majority of folks it turns out quite well (i mean 71% chance is better than you get with almost anything else). even with some of the pain i had, i'm still happy with my result.

Hi, I'm sure you will love it. As far as the pills they prescribed you, you might not even need them. I only took 1 pain pill and the antibiotics and bruising pill. No need for anything else. I barley had any bruising. Just drink lots of water and rest

Surgery is Friday the 14th!1 I have meds ready and is exicited and nervous. The doctor has offered me internal stiches instead of normal Stiches to make it less obvious for people bc I am trying to keep it on the dl should I get the internal stiches?

Get it done externally. Less chance of infection and easier to position. No one will really notice the scar.
