After researching I decided to have an arm lift with Dr Nykiel. My results were horrible but was rest assured that I needed to give myself plenty time to heal to see final results. My results did not get better and Dr said he would fix it free of charge once I wait about 8-12 months. I waited and while that happened we also talked About a tummy tuck. During the tummy tuck he cut me open and stopped surgery when he noticed a hernia. He stapled me up and said once I get that fixed he could then finish the procedure. He did not refund me.
I then tried to schedule the arm lift revision so he could fix it and he wanted to charge me the OR fees of about 3k then when I was ready to schedule a day he then said 3,500 because I wasn't going to have it on conjunction of another procedure .At this point I no longer trusted him, I spent over 14k and didn't get anything done, he just left me with bad scars and a lot of skin that I'm having another Dr fix.

I'm very sorry your results are so bad. The doctors incision placement seems off when compared to other arm lifts, mine included. What will you do now?
The office also offered you a free scar revision. Unfortunately, arm lifts in conjunction with a patients natural healing abilities can create a scar. The office did not and was not going to charge you for a scar revision. Based on your photos you posted, it looks like you lost a significant amount of additional weight (~50lbs). Congratulations on the additional weight loss. Unfortunately, in general, more weight loss can mean more excess skin. And if a patient lost even more weight and then wanted a surgery re-done or re-tightened because of further weight loss, then that would need to be done in an operating room and unfortunately the operating room and anesthesia have costs.
We are truly sorry that you are unhappy with your experience and we thank you for the feedback; however, we did the exact opposite to what you are saying: 1) we stopped your tummy tuck because we encountered a medical condition that would make it unsafe and potentially put your life in jeopardy; we will alway maintain safety as our #1 concern. 2) we refunded your money and 3) we offered you free scar revision.
As for the tummy tuck, yes you say safety first but a hernia is a simple procedure that any good surgeon should have been able to perform in conjunction with tummy tuck. My current Dr is well trained in that it was not an issue, during surgery he came across additional issue and he fixed it during that surgery free of charge, that is a good Dr right there. He stands by his work. I'm not the only patient you lost, I talked to another patient of yours that was going to write a review about her bad experience with you.
