I am very close to my surgery date, and figured I should start sharing my experience. I am tall, and curvy, yet I have a very small chest. It has always been a source of insecurity for me, so it is finally time to do something about it.
I have chosen Dr. Bennett to perform the procedure because she seems sweet, humble, and knowledgeable. She also has very good reviews.
My surgery is about a week away. I had my pre-op last week and choose 520 cc high profile silicone implants. I am second guessing the size I choose, particularly the profile. My breasts are constricted and have a pointed shape to them, so im afraid I will end up with torpedo boobs with the high profile. Plus, from the pictures I have seen, I like the look of the moderate profile better. I have an appointment for another sizing tomorrow, and plan to discuss my concerns with my surgeon.

If you choose a moderate profile you will lose some of the volume! Because moderate profiles you have to have a wider BWD. I am tall like you and slender, and I just received 415 FP silicone implants I could’ve definitely handled 450 or even 485...., so I think you will be fine at that 500 Mark. I think you are a little bit bigger than me so I think if you go any smaller you’ll be disappointed! Although I did not have any breast tissue or volume I was flat as a washboard. So if you have some breast tissue that will be on top of the implant. Just discuss your concerns, and let your PS give you some knowledge and Listen to their expertise. If I had taken into account that my PS said 450 would be perfect on my frame, I know that now I should have gone with 450. But I’m still very happy with my 415’s. Good luck! I’ve got a review if you want to follow me....;)

Thank you. I really appreciate your advice. I did go see my PS and she explained the different profiles in more detail. I feel confident now going with the 520 cc high profile.

Final decision on size... 520 cc HP

I had another sizing appointment with my PS. She brought out three different profiles in 520 cc, moderate, high, and ultra high. She and I agreed that the high profile would be best for me. Im happy that I chose Dr. Bennett. She is easy to talk to, and I feel comfortable with her.

When you say constricted do you mean like tuberous? I don’t see a side profile of your breasts so I just was trying to understand properly? Thanks going to finish reading your journey now.

Yes I believe they are tuberous, but my surgeon used the term constricted.

Surgery tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the big day! Im both nervous and excited. I think I am well prepared. I have my house clean, and my grocery shopping done.
I am very concerned about having to sleep on my back. I have always been a side sleeper, as sleeping on my back is uncomfortable for me. I rented an automatic recliner, hoping it will help me sleep, or at least be a comfortable position for me to relax in. I also have tons of pillows, including a wedge pillow, and a neck pillow.
I will post another update after the surgery as soon as I feel well enough.
