WORTH IT$11,500

Had my tummy Tuck on Tuesday July 10th and I am feeling really good. Not feeling too bad. I was expecting much worse when reading others reviews. But thus far I am doing great. I will post the before photos since I already have those and will post the newer ones later. By the way I am 5'2" and 150lbs. I hope to be motivated after my tummy tuck to lose at least 15 lbs. I think that all my stretch marks should be gone. I was hoping the birth mark would be but it is not. One Doctor thought he could get rid of it and another thought they could get it low enough to hind. We will see how it looks when the big reveal comes.

Hey, congrats! How is your recovery? How are you feeling? Happy healing :)

Feeling well so far. However I had to take the garment belt off. I had both the garment belt on and al the Compression outfit. I could not breathe very well with all that so I took off the belt. The nurse said I could and she did not think I should need both. I also still have one drainage in. It is on the right side and could be why my leg wants to feel asleep on that side. Feels better now that I took off the belt.

Did you have to wear compression stockings? My doctor said I would to prevent blood clots, but I don't seem to see anyone else discussing this. What meds are you taking?

Hey Supermomee (Like That Name), They did have me wearing compression stockings after the surgery just until I was up and walking around on my own. They said that as long as you walk for 5 mins every hour while you awake no need to have them after that.
The only pain medicine I have for home is Hydrocodone, however the first day I came home I was attached to something called a pain ball which is hooked to your right and left thigh that releases pain medicine every so often. They took that off on Thursday. They say that the celexbrex should take care of most of the pain (but it is not a pain med just an anti flammatory). I have tried to only take my pain medicine twice a day. I take it when I am about to take a shower just to make the movement a little easier. Probably could do without it but why suffer any.

Yesterday was a hard day for me. I had a bowel movement 2 days after surgey and have had one everyday since, but yesterday was awful. I know I sit on the tolient for an hour. I knew I had to go but it was giving me a hard time. I think I might have popped a stitch. I finally did go. I think I dropped 5lbs. lol. However the rest of the day I was drained and today my muscle hurt a little more. Hopefully I do not have to go through that again.
To end on a good note when they nurse weighed me on the day of surgery I weighed 151lbs. Today my weight is 141 lbs. 2lbs was what they got off during surgery. I was thinking my doctor would get at least 5lbs. :)

Today is day 13. Drain was removed on day 7. I was glad to get that think out. Did not hurt just a bother. This past Friday they took all stitches out of the tummy. I still have 3 left in the bellybutton. They left those in because the bellybutton was still red. First day out to the store yesterday and all was fine. I did start to bleed a little from the area where the drain was. I just put a bandaid on it and that seemed to stop the bleeding. I will take pictures soon just wanted some of the swelling to go down first.
