Hello Hello

Hello! So I took a break from laser bc #1 it's winter time and really it hasn't been uncomfortable wearing long sleeves and #2 goodness it hurts so bad! I have finally healed from session 2 and will soon book session 3 before Thanksgiving. Honestly I wish I could just be put to sleep. Even with a numbing agent it still is very uncomfortable. Anyways, I seem to be having progress but As you can see with many others I've had 2 sessions and have a long way to go!!! :)

Removal Update

Everything is going well. I feel like I might should have been on a more hydration schedule before having the removal. Like maybe I wasn't as healthy as I should be. I can tell my body is def attacking the wound so I am following doctors orders of staying hydrated etc. U really thought there wasn't going to be much of a difference from one session but pictures don't lie!! It's getting to the itchy phase, but I'm mostly covered and making sure to not itch.

3 days post 1st removal session

3 days, 72 hours, feels like forever but writing this brings me back to reality on how short it really has been. First and foremost I want to stress to everyone thinking about laser removal how important it is to take note on how healthy your body is and should be before starting with laser removal. I wake with my body begging me for fluids. It is so important and something I struggle to achieve everyday. Secondly, let's be real here...you cannot have sun exposure during this process on the area. So while your thinking of planning this take into consideration what time of year it is, and is it going to even be possible for you to keep the area out of the sun. I made sure my arms were back to original pigment before starting, and I'm just now realizing if this is something I'm taking on full swing I best get the most out of every penny. Which means def staying out of the sun for the next couple of weeks and even then wearing shirts with SPF in them after (still covering my arms). So with all of those restrictions I had to make a lot of sacrifices and arrangements. That being said everything is well today. Feels like I have worked out extremely hard with both arms. Soreness and just overall tightness and u comfortability. But hey, I'm only 72 hours in and I have atleast a year of this.
